Stopped here for dinner with my 4 kiddos last night at about 6:05-6:10pm. The young Black girl taking my order through the drive thru immediately had an attitude although I did nothing to warrant her having one. I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese and asked for the regular bun instead of the sesame bun. She told me to hold on bc she don't think they can do that. After silence for about a minute (which is long in a drive thru) I went ahead and told her how the employees usually code it, since I get it all of the time. She didn't acknowledgement me, it just popped up on the screen correctly. This is when the smart mouth and attitude started. I informed her that I had my survey code from my receipt which would allow me to bogo free sandwich. She asked me to pull up and show her the receipt. Soon as I handed them to her, she says loud enough for my young children to hear, "These receipts are old as HELL!" (They're literally from last week.)
She then grabs the manager and tell her the receipts are old, again they're not. There's not even an expiration date for the deal. She then tells me that they won't take the receipts because I didn't get them from this location. That there's a rule stating you have to use the receipt deal at the location you got it from. I asked for the manager and the Black girl rolls her eyes and says that was the manager I just talking to. I said okay, I'd like to talk to her. I wanted clarification on why I couldn't use the receipt. I've used the receipt deal many times at different restaurants and this is the only location that tells me I can't use it unless I got it from this location. It doesn't have this stipulation on the receipt so I'm assuming they're making it up. How is a customer supposed to know this "rule" if it isn't available to them anywhere on the coupon? At this point, I asked for the general or store managers contact information. The manager last night claimed her name was Jessica. A short Mexican girl. She refused to give me any sort of contact information for anyone over her. Her reasoning was she's not allowed to give out the store managers name or contact information. After going back and forth with her and trying to understand where this rule was coming from I decided to just order something else because they were refusing to honor the receipt coupon. The Black girl tells me that I can't change my order and that I would be to go back around in the drive thru to change my order. I told her that didn't make sense because she's the one who asked me to pull up because she was struggling to take my order to begin with, plus she wanted to look at my receipt coupon. I never actually got to finish placing my original order. She went on to say that there's people waiting behind me and that their food was getting cold because of me. I spoken to in a condescending tone and I could tell they were enjoying making my visit as complicated as possible. I decided to continue to speak to them with kindness and I went on around and waited on the drive thru again. I will never understand why people agree to do jobs that they really don't want to do. It cost nothing to be kind and courteous. If the manager could've shown me where that "rule" was written on my receipt or anywhere for that matter, I would've understood and moved on but it felt like they were just making it up to give me a hard time for no reason. I know how to deal with ignorant people though so I'll leave this review and start my own investigation to find out who the general manager is myself and relay my experience to them. I never needed you to tell me anything Jessica, it's 2024, of course it's nothing to figure it out. Do better. And Black girl, you're young so you're still learning so I'm going to give you some grace. We're all we got and I was never rude to you. Going forward, be teachable. There's nothing wrong with not knowing everything. I was trying to help you and in return you took offense and tried to "get me back". Be kind to all people but especially to...
Read moreSomething always goes wrong here@ On my latest visit I had a big order. I was told to pull into a parking space to wait for the order. I watched two other vehicles pull in behind me and receive their food before I did. Once the gentleman came out with the food I asked if the apple pies were actually in the bag. He said, "Yes they're under the fries." I left. Once home there was only one apple pie in the bag. I sent my son back to the location with the receipt to let them know that a pie had been missed. I'm guessing he spoke with the same gentleman that brought the food out because he was told, "I'm pretty sure I put the pies in the bag but oh well." He gave my son two more pies. There's just something wrong every time we go to this location. There was a time where I ordered a Happy Meal for my daughter and the main course wasn't in there, the chicken nuggets and again we were parked in the wait for your order parking space. This location is really close to my home, but I've said it before and I need to stick to it now I will not frequent this location anymore. They don't care about the service that they provide. I've even contacted McDonald's corporation...
Read moreAt the drive through, a McDonalds employee ordered me to park in front of the building. I declined because it was pouring rain and pointed out no one else was in line. I said I’d move if anyone else came behind me. She insisted. I declined. She slammed the window in my face! I reopened the window and asked for the manager. I said the rudeness was not acceptable because there was still no one else in line. She argued it was “protocol.” I’ve never heard of a business claim rudeness is protocol, so I said “Well, ya’ll are crazy.” The manager told me I was crazy and handed over my little bag of food.
At that point I said, “You know what, ya’ll can just keep your food” and I tossed it back in the window. The manager picked up the bag and threw it at me into my car. She also grabbed a large cup of ice which I didn’t order and also threw that into my car, then stuck her cell phone in my face to take illegal photos, and threatened to call the police.
As a PAYING customer, I don’t expect to suffer gross rudeness, rain damage to my car, the window slammed in my face, assault and battery, and being threatened with illegal photos and false arrest… as a...
