Morelia Restaurant #2 — Restaurant in Dallas

Oh boy...

The prices have gone up (new prices taped over old prices on my "wet" menu), and the food quality has gone down. I've eaten here before in a rush, and must have only had an appetizer or something for me not to have remembered.

The guacamole tasted like it had more jalapeños and onions than it had avocados. Not just some, but alot; throw that on a huge bed of lettuce. It should have truly been called a Jalapeño and Avacodo salad. ($7.95) The queso was good, but the portion small for the price. ($6.95/cup)

Then the meal: I ordered the Pachuga Rellena - The chicken was tough and not at all juicy, the ham was cubed from cheap lunch meat, and the bacon over cooked. The jalapeños in this dish were wet and soggy and had a bad [almost rancid] taste to them. ($18.95)

Then the drink; now, this is my oversight. We always forget to look at the prices of drinks. The first two cups of Dr. Pepper were served to me, but the third a Dr. Pepper can. Oops. Did I miss the no free refills signage, probably. ($8 for 3...

They basically just kicked me out around 7 even tho they close at 10. I just had 2 "custom" made drinks been an hour. I wasn't given any water. The servers seemed like they wanted to be nice but close your tab and they boot you don't care your only half way through the second custom made take as is drink. Vibe check 4.5 🤷‍♀️ they kinda cared?? Guess I better get to the nearest store for water cause some how I left my nonexistent water. No but for real keeping it safe out here guys. 🦂I saw a guy outside with food gloves, and I feel like I saw that same guy in the little kitchen window thing 😬 looked like the same gloves too 😳 Did I just set myself up for illness? I hope this drink kills it! Cause they literally told me in English they didn't have anything to do but they pretend that they we're closing down cause no one else was in there but me?...

I have read other reviews for this restaurant and they must have not been paying attention. The last 2 times I have been there (which was 8 months apart ) first their was a fly in the salsa which it seem like it happens all the time to the waitress when I brought it to her attention. Food was cold and I just didn't enjoy being there after having a fly in the salsa. This last time they still have flys flying everywhere! ! And wait staff just calming work around them! I happen to look up at the counter waiting to see if our food was coming up. After about 30 min of being there..and I see a roach crawling on the counter where my food was going to be set to bring to table. How gross is that! I had to get up and leave at that moment. And again wait staff was very calm about it like it happens all the time. I will never go back there....
