Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Dallas

As much of a fan as I was of Papa John’s, this location just solidified it and took me to another level! I ordered my food via the app and when I arrived to pick it up the gentleman told me it was not ready (even though the app said it was) and he explained why. He said they tried calling me to clarify and confirm a change I requested. He said they had done everything else except that last step because they wanted to make sure it was correct before putting it into the oven. Super impressive! He said it won’t be long for the cooking time. When the order was ready he called me and brought it straight to me. I opened the box and it was the most beautifully made pizza I’ve had from a restaurant. There was a nice amount of toppings and they were balanced so there were no bare spaces. The crust was cooked crispy and not burnt. When I bit into the first slice I already knew it was going to be hard to stop. Overall, everything was perfect. I almost don’t want to get pizza again because I honestly don’t know if another location will be able to match what this one did. They have set the bar extremely high...

The pizza was horrible to say the least.. We ordered original crust but this is what we got; extremely thin, dry, cooked until burned crust. It was so tough, it hurt my mouth to chew. I only buy papa John’s because of their famous crust and it seems like it’s really hard to mess that up. I talked to “Roz” the shift leader and he argued with me about it. He refused me the general managers information when I kindly asked for it. When I asked what we can do to fix it he said I can drive all the way back to return the pizza. I said this is unacceptable and he offered me a whopping 25% off “my next order”, as if I would ever order here again. Totally unacceptable. So much for “better pizza” or...

This establishment is a joke. The food is generally good however when the mess your order up you have to go to he'll and back to have it corrected. Instead of management acknowledging that they made a mistake and saying okay your food was not prepared correctly we will fix I was told you always call us when your food isn't made right to complain.(exactly what other reason would I have to call and/or complain) Why yes I will call when its not done right, since it is a pancheese pizza(which should be fairly simple to make) cut in square.
