Remote Coffee — Restaurant in Dallas

Third time back awkward when the employee says answer the question at the prompt. Obviously they are told what to say. Gave cash for tip not a thank you my dollar wasn’t good enough, napkins with my tacos would be helpful. Coffee and tacos are good, I would not recommend the bacon it does taste like it freshly prepared and chopped more like bacon bits heated doesn’t have a fresh texture, seems like it wouldn’t have a jerky bacon texture as if it’s pre cooked that would excel the flavor in that taco. The eggs are really good I’m sure it’s set in stone how the bacon prepared but that will definitely help with flavor and texture. The chorizo is excellent blows the bacon out the water, I have had the steak it was okay a bit tough but not bad. Basically asking for a tip on top of a high priced order for one seems forced and optional makes it an awkwardly experience. I assure you most may feel the same. I also would bet most would tip without having a prompt put in your face while they are judging you whether they are or not just may make more for them. LDU does not ask for a tip after an order. I would recommend having a tip jar or tips accepted in writing on the window of drive up seems more graceful and appropriate. I like this place just leaving some notes for what can improve and help with success in this area not many make it here bc they are set in their ways...

We tried this place recently but didn’t have the best experience. My wife wanted a coffee, so I ordered an ice mocha latte. They have breakfast tacos that looked good on the menu, so I ordered a few to try. I ordered two bean and cheese tacos and a bacon egg and cheese taco. I verified the order was correct on the screen as prompted by the employee. I went to pay and tipped before I got my food. I should have checked the food before I got home, but there is no space in the drive-thru to pull over and do that. They only gave me 2 tacos and instead of the bean and cheese tacos, it was actually a bean fancy taco (had asada meat on it). My wife and daughter wouldn’t eat it, so I had to go to another restaurant to get them something to eat. My wife enjoyed the $6 coffee. However, $4.79 for a underwhelming bacon, egg and cheese taco wasn’t worth it. Things happen, especially when they first open, so we will give it another...

Update 2/13: Very good! Asked if there was coffee in the chia latte and they assured me there wouldn't be, and it was just right this time. Tried some new burritos flavors and the strawberry cheesecake frozen drink which was really great. Friendly at the drive through again, 5 stars today 😊 The service was fast and friendly. The breakfast burrito was tasty and the hot chocolate tasted pretty good. The chai latte was disappointing (I think they got my order wrong?) It was a strong bitter flavor that was clearly a coffee. I did not order any shot of Expresso or any additions to my Hot Chai which traditionally do not have coffee just tea and spices. I will go back soon to try the food again and ask about what goes inside their Hot Chai and give it...
