We were passing through Dallas on a trip to Tulsa from Austin, we visited with our son and he recommended this spot for supper since he felt it would fill our carnivore needs and his vegan. A small little dining area ran by a family. We greeted promptly and order was taken. The appetizer of hummus was good with hot fresh pitas. It kept hunger at bay why we waited for our entrees. Every thing is made from scratch so the turn around time us little longer than other sit down establishments, but it is well worth the wait. One of us had the falafel plate, it was very delicious and moist. My husband and I normally do not like this particular fare due to dryness. We did not find that to be the case here.

I had the pistachio chicken and my husband had the hashmire chicken. Chicken was moist and grilled vegetables were outstanding. I just wish we had more of them. Wished we lived closer so we could...

Do not recommend and will NOT be back. Just FYI, if you’re ordering takeout from this business, call the restaurant to order. They have options to order via Seamless or Grubbub — I ordered $60 order from Seamless at 5:42 pm to be picked up between 6:15-6:25 pm. Arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm and was only told then that they cancelled it. I then finally received an email at 6:18 pm that it had been cancelled (screenshots of emails attached). Then had to wait for 30 mins after arriving and finding all this out for our food to be prepared. I called afterwards and they offered no apologies or anything, the lady just yelled over me the whole time and argued with me, she said they “have been in business for 18 years”, then hung up on me. We have been eating here for years but will never, ever return or recommend this place to anyone again. Horrible...

Horrible!

Racist remarks towards my group of Friends.

Both owners were so rude because wanted our lamb well done. They said you

"You Indian people should not order lamb because you don't know how to eat lamb"

How the hell does she even know if we are Indian? There no need to tell people how their food is burnt meat.

"13 years we serve American people and we make food for American people"

Ummm I am an American too. Don't tell me that because my skin in brown ... so I am automatically qualified as not white privileged. Therefore, what I say wont matter.

She took the knife and fork out of my hand and aggressively starts cutting the meat in my plate to show me how to eat the meat.

This is the worst behavior ever.

Worst dinning experience ever. Maybe just worst experience dealing with people ever.

I feel terrible for both of these...

Me and my fiancé stopped by this place around 1:30pm today and had a quick and very healthy lunch. This place is very surprisingly quaint and has a very realistic feel that (as we both remarked)almost makes you feel like you are in actually being served in a far away place. Huh huh. But seriously, the hospitality and the food were nothing short of PHENOMENAL!! Loved the tzaziki dip with the pita bread and the falafel with their great tahini dip. The size of the falefel was great!! Somewhere between a full size donut and small donut I’d say and very authentic and tasty. The staff was great and we felt very welcome, almost felt like a regular!! I’ll be back for sure!!

When I arrived I was starving so I ordered the Mazza appetizer, 1/2 of seven salad loaded with feta cheese and I ordered chicken kabobs. I took a tiramisu dessert to go and it was very good, garnished with a mint leaf, blueberries and strawberries! Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. When I arrived I was going to sit at a tiny table because I was alone but the lady insisted that I take a comfortable booth, she was very sweet! This will be a first of many visits!
