Smoothie King — Restaurant in Dallas

Where to begin. For years now my experiences at the surrounding Smoothie King locations in the area have been nothing but professional, however the first time I actually go to interact with this drive through location I was left feeling as if my business didn't matter. When I pulled up to the drive through line there was a car ahead of me currently placing an order and a few cars ahead of him awaiting there smoothies. Once it was my turn to place an order after waiting in line for a few mins I was promptly told that they were closed for the night despite it not yet being closing time and the car directly in front of me just completing an order. Confused I asked "Did you not just take an order from the car in front of me?" The response was yes, but there is only 2 of us working tonight and we have a lot of blenders to clean etc so they couldn't take another order unless I wanted to wait 30 mins for them to clean everything before making me a smoothie. Now I'm not sure if these establishments are franchised or personally own but if you are willing to turn away potential business because you dont want to spend an extra couple mins cleaning a smoothie blender than I'm not sure I have any interest in providing you...

If I could give this location ZERO stars, I would! First off, the little boy taking orders through the drive through is the WORST. He is rude, unpleasant, and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

This evening, after leaving the gym, I return to this location for a second time hoping to receive better service than the first time I came. NOPE, he was just as rude as the first time. He doesn’t greet you as you pull up. The only thing he says is “order when you’re ready”…after placing my order, he doesn’t tell me the price, all he says is “pull up to the window”…as I get to the window, there is another young man, who seemingly seems to be way more pleasant than the idiot taking the drive through orders. I said the guy in the drive through is very rude as if he doesn’t want to be here…the young man said “he doesn’t want to be here”…well why are you here!? Why not find another job. The unpleasant one also tells me he is not obligated to greet customers through the drive through…you’re not obligated to be customer friendly!? After that, I left. Didn’t buy a smoothie and will never return to this location again. I will make sure that none of my friends go here as well. I have NEVER encountered such rude people working for...

Oh my! Let me tell you, this place is SO convenient! I especially love the $5 Friday’s! It can get a bit packed considering it’s a drive thru and walk up ONLY location but they hands down make the BEST smoothies I’ve had! The workers are extremely nice, patient, and helpful! I love going here for a pick me up after a long day at work! They ALWAYS make me smile. I usually go on Fridays and I’m not sure what was going on last night 06/22 but they were busy nonstop all evening(I live close by and had to keep passing the location) and the 2 ladies that worked last night were SO FAST AND AMAZING!! Bless their hearts because I KNOW that was a long night for them. I will say I feel they’re very under staffed on shifts. I’m a manager at rally house and when I know we’re having special days and being a pretty popular location as they are, we add 1-2 more to the shift! Those 2 little ladies busted their behinds last night and still kept smiling and laughing! I would LOVE to have them on my team. Their manager is pretty lucky and that’s an understatement!
