Nurika the manager at the time, left an inexperienced employee at the front counter for an extended period of time. At least 2 customers had to walk the lady through how to make their drinks and several left without getting any service. Another associate came out to assist but then disappeared behind the doors to the side of the store. The lady at the front counter then had go and ask for help again. As the two tried to assist us and the 5 other customers behind the counter the manager, Nurika, finally appeared and started to have a lengthy conversation about her needing to stay clocked out for 30 minutes. As this continued on a customer, who had already paid, was being called for her flight. I proceeded to ask if this conversation could take place after all the customers were taken care of and Nurika stated the situation was under control and went back to arguing with her staff about the time clock issues. She did not assist any customers and continued to distract her employee. I had to give my order 3 times. This was the most chaotic and ridiculous display of disorganization, management, and customer service. I visit a Starbucks multiple times a week for personal and business. Read moreHave only been here twice, but the service is literally outstanding!! Tried to see the two peoples names who impressed me most, couldnt see a name tag though. One was running the register, she had red highlights in her hair and said her brothers name was Diablo. She was spectacular! Keeping everyone entertained in line and asking good questions about every customers destinations while moving through the line quickly. They went out of their way to make my very complicated coffee just the way I liked it, evrn made me taste it before I left. It was a very personal and fun experience. The guy making the coffee (wore a gold chain with 100 on it) was equally engaging and entertaining! Couldnt have been more jealous this wasnt my usual coffee spot and that I couldnt get this kind of joyus atmosphere everyday! Whoever is managing and training these people is doing...
Read moreThey were supposed to open at 7:00. We waited until 7:30 and they still wouldn’t open. Saying they didn’t have enough people on staff to run the shop. 7:40 rolls around and and still nothing. I asked them if they could just sell me a cheese danish for my child so we could make it to board our plane and they said they couldn’t even get into the system to sell me one.
This is by far the worst customer experience I’ve ever had at a Starbucks. I’ve worked as a barista for over two years and in that situation I’d feel empowered to just comp the one danish for the child and attempt some sort of customer service.
When I left the line there were at least 30 people behind me. I was the first in line after 3 people left in front of me.
