Workout Anytime Casa View — Local services in Dallas

Stuff just stays broken here, one example being the foot straps on the standing bikes. Some have been broken for 6+ months and they are literally right next to the front desk. 🤣

The staff is nice enough but recently I canceled my membership to find a gym closer to me. I wasn’t in the 30 day notification window so I ended up having to pay for another month, which is fine, I didn’t mind coming for another 6/7 weeks but as soon as I canceled my membership my access card was restricted so that I couldn’t unlock the door outside staff hours. The place is called ‘Workout 24/7 Anytime’ lol so I am stuck paying for the full service and not being able to access it. When I asked about this I was just told this was ‘how the system works’. I have not been provided any flexibility.

Even canceling the membership was unpleasant, the ‘manager’ wanted to fight with me over the phone trying to say I would have to make my regular payment (Jan 22) and only have access till the end of Jan. When I told him that didn’t make sense he got irate, began speaking over me and I had to physically come in and pull the documentation that I initially signed which showed what he was saying didn’t make sense. People make mistakes, it was more about the way he handled it that rubbed me the wrong way.

I initially signed up for the lake highlands gym (been a member with this company for 3+ years) but sadly that one closed so I came here. The standards at lake highlands just seemed higher.

Pros: Like the name says, you can workout anytime. This was great for me since it allows me to get my workout done earlier than most gyms. Staff is super polite and courteous. Parking is always easy

Cons: Half the cardio machines don't work. This has been the case for the past 3-4 months. Since Nov 2023 Gym is always dirty and the weights are rarely re-racked. Restroom / Locker room ( mens ) is always dirty as well. Its super small and only one stall works. This entire room smells like piss.

Additional Comments: A fellow gym member once got upset with me because I walked in front of their camera setup. I didn't see the camera but regardless, I'm a paying member too, LOL. I've worked out at other gyms worse this place but at least those gyms kept the restroom / locker rooms clean. I canceled my account and was charged a $99 "buy-out" fee plus the next month's membership fee since I didn't give 30...

I can’t say enough great things about Workout Anytime and especially the manager, Tonie! While my mom was in town visiting for a couple of weeks, Tonie went above and beyond by graciously allowing her to use the gym without requiring a full month’s membership. That kind of flexibility and kindness is rare, and it made a big difference during her stay.

Tonie is a true leader. Not only is she dedicated to making sure the gym equipment is fully functional and up to date, but she also leads by example. I’ve personally seen her cleaning the gym and restrooms herself, ensuring the entire facility stays spotless and welcoming. Her hands-on leadership and attention to detail make this gym stand out.
