Despite my family's complaints with every visit, they have been coming here for years. There is always something wrong with the food and/or the service. This past Friday, this place was the closest to us since we were having a garage sale nearby and needed some quick, filling food. The cashier charged us $7 over the true total for our purchase, due to his "mistake" of thinking our can sodas were glass ones even though he bagged them himself. I thought to do the math because it seemed like too much.... especially with their fees.

We ordered 15 tacos of barbacoa and the meet was dry, not any fat or even a bit of oil. I don't even think the meat was barbacoa. It was shredded beef meat of some sort. That's not what I paid for. For so many tacos, you'd think they'd give you plenty of cilantro and onion, but all we got was one baggy. We received enough salsa because some of our family does not eat it. We also got one bag of tortilla chips and they were a little burnt and tasted somewhat old.

The place can be somewhat messy sometimes.

Parking can be a little cumbersome, especially if you go during peak hours.

Overall, double check your orders. Ask for a receipt. Do the math! And avoid this place if you can. I've heard and seen this place praised by local news and papers, but it's honestly...

I’ve been here a few times, about 3-5 times. I try and come through once a month and get breakfast for my drivers. With that being said, I’ve placed some pretty big orders. I love that they are very patient and it’s pretty time efficient. The food is really good and authentic . If you love the kind of food that takes you back to when you were growing up , waking up to mama or grandmas cooking... this place has it. If you don’t know what I’m talking about and want to experience it, come check it out. You’ll feel right at home. My respects to Don Julio, the man seems like he has a heart of gold, very kind gentleman. Thanks to the rest of the staff as well, God bless. Come check it out yourselves, you won’t be...

I entered the parking lot and was greeted with some big potholes damaging my car’s suspension.I went inside. The place was very small but somewhat organized. Some of the beverages inside the refrigerator weren’t well aligned and mixed all around and completely unorganized. The staff were very friendly. I ordered chilaquiles verdes. They were alright. Typical homemade food, nothing fancy. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t all that either. The waitress offered the people in front of me some hot sauce but not me even thoe I was first before them. She seen me looking at her offering them; so she tried offering me some right after, but I said no since she should’ve done that at first when I came before them. They had fair prices. Cheaper than other family owned joints. Would I come...

A good friend of mine told me about this little spot! They did not disappoint! First time trying and the gorditas were delicious! We also tried a tamale de puerco wrapped in banana leaf but my husband devoured it before I could take a picture lol. We will come back to try their different varieties of food! God bless!
