Waffle House — Restaurant in Dalton

The waitress took our order didn’t write half of it down ! Took it back to be prepared and came back and asked us if she had takin our order yet didn’t even give me my drink after she asked me what I wanted. Came back about 10 mins later got our order the second time after finally serving my drink. Don’t even think she payed snuff attention to our order the second time bc she still forgot the raisin toast and the grits I had ordered with my meal. Had to repeat my order several times to her and she appeared to be on something because she kept talking about another customer that was previously in their that had been drunk and had went to the bathroom and left the door open with his NO NO SPOT out and came back and told us customers about it! We went ahead and got our order to go had to check the order after it was prepared and ready to go had to check make sure it was correct and she left out the raisin toast , grits , apple butter etc. then after paying for our order and was backing up to leave she comes outside the restaurant and waving us down to tell us that we didn’t leave her a tip! My friend said ugh no mam we didn’t u forgot our order had to order it twice we aren’t tipping for bad service. Have a good night. Then we left as we walked out their was others that hadn’t ordered that just walked out and left as well. Seems to be like someone that can take charge and hold a crew down needs to be their to manage that place...

I don’t care what the servers look like or the people who don’t like it because the floors are sticky with syrup and cleaning supplies or the smell, but I came here before at three in the morning and ordered a Texas Patty Melt with Hash browns (925 cal). I forgot how much it was but online without tax or tip it is listed as $8.20. If I was asked to describe it in one word I would say, “DEVOURED”. The waitress was so pleasant and was actually aware of my presents seeing how she was familiar with my uncle. Food was good and so is the staff if you want late night food COME HERE. Because you won’t see better breakfast food. Compared to your fancy Roman Empire called IHOP this is better, IHOP claims to have sweet pancakes and BUTTERED up biscuits. Pancakes were dry and so was the biscuit. The orange juice? CANT COMPARE. And their not open all night. GO TO...

worst place to go, your employees can't even refund your money back when you order something and it comes out cold so u ask them to heat it up but don't bring nothing back after sitting there awhile to still charge me for the the dish I didn't get to eat..... customer (me) did you take that biscuit and gravy off? I didn't get to eat it, waitress no you you should have said something before you put your card in......um no, the three of you knew I didn't get it but charged me for it anyways. train your employees better please. I'd give bo stars on...
