Summer 2023 and it’s 115 degrees outside and this business is in a parking lot in a defunct pet supply business. The trailer is parked on white crushed rock and it feels like you’re standing in another planet. Waiting 20 minutes felt unpleasant and unappreciated. When we got to the window the food truck owner doesn’t acknowledge us approaching or states the proverbial “I’ll be with you in a minute,” instead he continued to work and ignored us, and I could sense an attitude and it was at that moment we walked off. There are many places for BBQ (For example Dave’s BBQ a few blocks away), so why would I spend my money there to be treated like that and waited that long with no gratitude that we were enduring the wait to try this place. I won’t be going back to this place, the vibe was off!
Edit 8/22/23 After reading your response I will finalize my last words - your rebuttal for my review only verfies my observations. I see you started showing gratitude on your social media page only after I ackowledge "the lack of," on this review -- its all dated. I've never seen anyone take a customer complaint and make it about them instead of apologizing and attempting to resolve the issue, instead you want to undermined an experience someone had, the service is as I expected. However, I hope there is a lesson to be learned here, and why would anyone have empathy for your situation, albeit its hot in your truck, its an occupational hazard, like driving to work. Customer retention goes beyond the food, its also in the service -- just look at other industry collegues who have gone on to doing bigger things in stadiums. Thanks for your response, have a great day!
PS - no offense to the business that the lot sits on, I wish them...
Read moreWow, I had so hoped my 3rd visit today to 225 BBQ would mirror my first visit. Not so. My first visit I got two juicy, really meaty ribs and two nice size slices of brisket. The green spaghetti was a little dry, but delicious. The meat was so good! My 2nd and third visits were disappointing. Again, I ordered ribs and sliced brisket with two sides. I was given two little narrow slices of brisket a little dry and overcooked and one of the two ribs was an end with barely any meat.😏😭 Flavor-wise 225 BBQ is the best. But, I looked for a redo of my first experience! As for the other sides I've tried, I didn't find a good Mexican Flavor in what they call Charro Beans. The Dirty Rice was a little dry and lacked the flavor you expect. The Cole Slaw wasn't to bad. Consistency of the meat is the reason I likely may not go back. The wait staff were very nice, the overall atmosphere isn't bad and the ladies roon was clean and...
Read moreThis is some of the best BBQ in Arlington, maybe the whole DFW. I love just about everything from their BBQ Turkey, Brisket, Pork Ribs and Beef Ribs. The sides are sweet too. It's mandatory to try a Texas Twinkie or if you are brave soul, try a Cherry Bomb (super hot - make your friends CRY by not telling them), but the loaded potato salad is on point too. They just opening up in a new location. Previously they were out of a food truck and were so good they made enough to get a physical location without wheels. Nice big space, pool tables, soda fountain, etc.
I almost forgot the Birria Tacos are pretty awesome too. Lots of smokey flavor and cheese. And all right next to UTA, the Ballpark in Arlington and Cowboys Stadium. Give them a try them come back here to copy my review ;)
Also, they just moved so if you order delivery make sure the delivery place has the right address from Google/Facebook (601 E. Main St...
