BOWEN DONUTS — Restaurant in Dalworthington Gardens

Walked in to get my son some donuts we got 2 dozen donuts one donuts and he got a kid drink...the total was $9.50 which was pretty pricey for what we normally pay for donuts. I asked nicely to the lady who rang us up how much the stuff was and with her nasty attitude she said ma'am.(rolled her eyes and too a deep breath)..look right here..then rang it up again with all the nasty attitude for me just asking a simple question. I was going to pay the $9 regardless. Just asking how much the donuts were. It is to early in the morning for her to have attitude to customers...whatever her problem was she needed to fix before she walked into work because their attitude can set customers moods. It wasn't about the money at that point it was about customer service and they failed. We won't ever be going...

I absolutely love this place! Staff and owners are really nice. I am a regular. I come about 3-4x a week. They have the best kolaches/ pigs in a blanket that I’ve have came across! I like to call them pigs in a “comforter” because the bread is so soft, and not starchy like how other shops make it. I get the mini sausage and they have this special sauce that goes well with it also. Donuts are nice and fresh, and I just love supporting small...

Only tried their cronuts and they are REALLY good although very unhealthy (was leaking grease in between flakes and every bite!). The sweetness of the glazing is just right. The crispness was just the right amount of light and flaky along with chewy. Amazing cronut. Although I would limit myself to special occasions.
