Kings West Coast Pizzeria — Restaurant in Daly City

Just heard about Kings West Coast a few hours ago and wanted to give them an honest chance. Ordered two pies and a salad. Everything was very good and the crust was exceptional. I had delivery and expected a bit of a lukewarm pie but it showed up piping hot and delicious. A++ on the food and delivery! The only issue I had was I paid for extra pepperoni on a pepperoni pie and it was not there. This is an honest mistake as I didn't specify in the comments that it was "extra", just ordered it as "extra". I will absolutely be going back and offering Kings West Coast another chance to be pertect. The food is that good. Ordered: Large Pepperoni, with extra Pepperoni, Pie, Small Vegetarian Haight-Ashbury Vegetarian Pie (.. had to taste.. Yummy!!!) and a Ceasar Salad (huge and very very good!).

After my dental appointment at Pacific Sky on Mission, I was really hungry as I missed lunch. Having parked on the street, I noticed Kings across the street. To my extreme satisfation they didn't disappoint. I ordered the Chicken Lunch Plate. The price was a bargain compared to the amount of food. It came with a generous layer of rice and beans topped with thinly sliced perfectly marinated chicken breast. Also they included, a little side of a healthy salad, corn sauteed with green beans, and some spaghetti. I got a beer as well, and took lunch home. I felt so much better enjoying such delicious food after a trying dental visit. Everything taste great when you are hungry. Kings West makes an okay tasting large margherita pizza $27. It needs improvements however. I found the dough to be similar to pizza chain restaurants. It needs to be more fluffier to separate themselves texture wise. The crust was tough to chew. A margherita pizza is supposed to have a fragrant basil smell, rich mozzarella cheese taste and balanced with the zing of fresh tomatoes. Their version is not it.

The one pizza I notice on their menu, I might try later is a Portuguese pizza. It has hard boil eggs. Sounds interesting.

Service was fine for take-out. The restaurant was empty when I went at 6pm on a Saturday. Note the service fee if you order via their website. Call them instead if you want...
