I like how they are actually separate locations now. It makes it a lot easier to just deal with the store instead of when it was shared with Ling Nam restaurant. Even when I called to verify hours, the phone number listed online was wrong it was for Ling Nam restaurant. I had to call numerous times before someone answered, only to have the lady give me attitude because the number I called was Ling Nam restaurant not starbread. I had to call back to get the phone number. This place is very compact, but everywhere you look they have something for sale. They open super early in the morning. They were pretty busy on a Friday morning but service was fast. Like everyone else, I came for the fresh bread senorita bread to bring to work. That warm, fluffy, buttery, sugary bread is si comforting any time of day. It perfectly goes with coffee, tea, or any drink of your choosing. This time around, I also ordered the empanadas: beef, pork, and chicken. It was a hit at work. Especially when you warm it up in the toaster oven. It was also my first time trying their ube crinkle cookies. I was surprised at how soft it was. Everything we tried here was delicious. I do recommend coming early since parking is tough once all the other stores nearby open up. People who work here were super nice and helpful with trying to figure out whatever goodies to try. Highly recommend and apparently my coworkers told me that this location, then senorita bread tasted way better than...
Read moreLocated inside Ling Nam I came here for the star bread, which I completely neglected for years because I’d only come here late night when I was drunk. I’d actually hadn’t been here in the day time until recently and therefor wasn’t getting Star Bread. Daytime is when my sweet tooth is strongest.
We came here solely for the Senorita bread which they bake to order. All these years I’d never noticed, but this place is popular, just look at the to go boxes stacked to the ceiling in the back.
Protip: since they are made fresh, they come out hot, like wait 10 minutes before you open the box hot. This is the perfect thing to take home beucase it’s perfect upon arrival. I’ve burned my mouth half the time I get these because they are that good that maybe I don’t care.
Cash only.
The pan de sal is smaller than what I get back in Socal, which is nice, more along the size lines of PI. The hopia is dry.
Senorita bread is basically pan de sal dough rolled and filled with butter, sugar and then dipped it’s bottom in honey. LEGIT. We’ve all dipped out pan de sal in chocolate milk as kids and smeared butter on it and topped with sugar and then toasted, but this is small, portable and next level. Simple yet refined, something we could all do at...

She said it didn’t go through and I checked my bank account and my shoulder that it went through, she would give me the bread so because I was in a rush to take the bread for work and deal with it later I end up paying cash and she said she was gonna cancel the transaction and she never did so I got charged twice she stated that the Wi-Fi was not connected to the machine of the debit card She seem like a scammer from those people who call you on the phone i’ve been going to this place for years never had a problem till last Friday I think they need to up the Wi-Fi or something.
