Club 19 — Restaurant in Dana Point

I came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and the food and service were excellent! Hunter was super welcoming and was super nice! The views of the golf course and ocean were beautiful as well. We had the bavarian pretzel, reuben, club sandwich, and chocolate roll cake dessert. Highly recommend the reuben! Presentation and food were all great. They had complimentary valet as well.

I rated the atmosphere as 4 stars because a lot of the indoor chairs/furniture were stained and looked very old, and one of the tables that we first sat at was also very wobbly. They should look into upgrading their furniture or replacing it. Club 19 is a great restaurant located by Monarch Beach with an absolutely beautiful view of the golf course and ocean. My wife and I were staying at the Monarch hotel and decided to stop by for breakfast. I would recommend sitting outside to make the most of the amazing view (just be careful of the birds that come and try to steal your food)! The breakfast options are filling, and the service is decent. We didn't really have any complaints, probably because we were too busy gazing at the scenery.

I would also recommend stopping by at Monarch Beach after visiting the restaurant. It's just a quick shuttle ride away and is a private and quiet beach for anyone staying...

I wouldn’t say this without it being true; it’s a really big statement: I had one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had today. I don’t know who the chef is but his special at lunch today was a top sirloin steak sandwich. The server recommended it after I showed interest in the rueben. Straight up amazing.
