Sea Terrace Community Park — Attraction in Dana Point

Went there for a concert and it was just beautiful! Except for all the blocked-off areas --- the stage, the restrooms, egress and ingress! These aren't the Beatles nor the Dead Presidents, for gosh sakes! The lush setting, trees, families and fellow music lovers were just superb! The prison-like setting/layout was not . . . and needs to be changed, NOW! Heading back again this Sunday in hopes of more hospitable/people-centric change to the concert/venue experience --- I'll let you know!

NOTE: The following Sunday . . . things still the same! Restrooms are AN ENTIRE FOOTBALL FIELD AWAY from the stage! And three of them were locked. The two (2) times I ventured all the way back there, women on both occasions were upset that the porta-potties had NO TOILET PAPER! YIKES! As a man, I know that is a BIG no-no! There is another concert this Sunday, but I'm taking a pass! And it is primarily because it is too much of an excursion (not to mention the heat/smell within those closet-like outhouses) to relieve oneself! This is Dana Point, for chis sakes, bring out the less rudimentary restrooms please! When you do --- I'll return . . . but until...

This is my favorite park in South Orange County located on the oceanfront between the Ritz Carlton Hotel and the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort. It’s a very large park with miles of walking and biking trails along the coastline and east of Pacific Coast Highway with huge grassy areas to have a picnic and relax. The oceanfront park has a nice grass area that slopes down to the beach and is my favorite spot to watch the sunset and often times listening to live music coming from events at the neighboring Ritz Carlton...

Great views and an easy walk to the end...less than 1 mile round trip. My 79 year old mom with bad knees had no issues doing it and she stopped me from stepping on a rattlesnake. I have done this walk several times and there are signs 'warning rattlesnakes In the area' but this was my first time seeing one on the path. I don't think it was well because it didn't move only showed it's fangs...it was gone when...
