Le Saint Honore — Restaurant in Dana Point

They acknowledged me right away & noticed I was having trouble reading there menu sign and gave me a hand menu instead. (I do wear glasses but forgot them in the car). The ambiance is great to catch up with friends. I would keep the circle small like 2-4 people. There tables are not that big for big groups. It’s very clean inside & out. Even there restroom is nice ! Super clean & stocked. Now, onto the food portion. There croissants are so buttery, soft on the inside and crunchy & flakey on the outside. The Banana & Nutella Croissant was very delicious. A little overpowering on the sweetness scale but still very enjoyable. There Ham & Cheese Croissant was super delicious the only thing that I would change would be that it had more ham & cheese inside. As you can see from the picture it’s just a small piece of ham inside. The matcha latte unfortunately was a miss for me tasted too much like Oat milk and you can tell by the picture. There French onion soup have a was exquisite. I love that they even provided a side bread with cheese on top in addition to the two that are already inside the soup. The bread is very soft on the inside as well and crunchy on the outside with a nice garlic...

Absolutely OBSESSED with this café!! 💯 From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the sweetest smile from the cashier—she’s seriously the kindest person ever and made my whole day better. Her energy is unmatched and she’s so good at what she does!!

The customer service here is top-tier—fast, friendly, and super professional. I barely had to wait for my order and everything came out fresh and perfect. The drinks? 10/10. Bakery items? MELTED in my mouth. And the food?? Absolutely chef’s kiss delicious. You can tell they really care about quality here.

Also gotta mention: the place is SPOTLESS. Super clean tables, cozy vibe, and the bathrooms are actually clean and smell nice (rare, I know!!).

The experience was mixed. When we came we noticed it was just one person helping customers - making transactions and food/ coffee when free. Unfortunately there were 3 groups of people who came at the same time so we were waiting for our coffee for more than 20 minutes. Food was great but no ability to get coffee in time or to warm anything (it took also 20+ minutes to get the quiche warmed a little) ruined the experience. I don't know if the owner wants to consider having a more personal or faster oven ... On top of the busy hour we were unpleasantly surprised that the cashier was giving priority orders to her friends who were originally last in the line but got her food first and almost cut the line if we didn't point out that there were other people waiting. So definitely recommend the food but a lot of items...
