Wow! What a find. We were looking for good quality food, wine and a place that was spacious ( because of the pandemic), the Canoe Club Wine Bar more than delivered. The food was delicious, fresh and appetizing. The service was on point. Kirsten was professional, pleasant and fun. She recommended a delicious wine- it was perfect. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, also very unique (eye candy). It even has an art gallery! We just had to buy a piece of art. It was a fabulous date night, as we traveled home from vacationing at Put In Bay. I was so thrilled that my Husband looked on line and found this hidden gem 💎. Kudos to the Chef and staff for a lovely, warm atmosphere, a very nice wine selection, excellent quality food, and presentation. We will highly recommend the Canoe Club Wine Bar to family, friends acquaintances and strangers looking for quality food and a...

Tonight we headed to Port Clinton from an hour away with the intentions of going to a different wine bar, but they were closed. Luckily I found this gem on Google! We were pleasantly surprised! Such a beautiful bar. Very friendly Bartender and staff. The atmosphere was inviting and classy but not stuffy. To drink, I had the Red Sangria, the Peach Mango Spritzer and the Marblehead Fruit Cocktail, all three were delicious! To eat we enjoyed the Hummus, Sausage Skillet and Italian Meats Wood Fired Pizza. For dessert we had the Salted Caramel Pretzel Crust Brownie, sooooo yummy (this is a must have!). Very fresh ingredients and well prepared. We enjoyed our visit very much! Prices were in-line with other wineries we've visited. My drinks were $30 and our food was $39, my husband had 4 Coors light for a total with 25% tip of $105. We will...

Canoe Club is my favorite place to dine in or to get our pizzas to go!! Everyone who works there is so nice, they always make my husband and I feel so welcome!! The food is always so amazing! We love the pizza and the pretzel brownie dessert with salted caramel gelato, which is one of the best desserts I have ever had!! When we dine in, the atmosphere is so relaxing, the perfect environment to enjoy some wine with our meal and to sit back and enjoy the perfect lighting and sometimes live music!!! Tonight we got take out and the pick up process was simple and everyone who worked there had masks on and everything was super clean and the pizza was so good!! Can’t wait to stop...

Wood fired pizza was quite good and one of the only places around that serves it. Tried the Italian meats (which was lacking in flavor but still tasty), hot honey (which was really good), and Italian sausage (which was spicier than the hot honey and had the most flavor). 6 slices a pie and decently filling. Split 3 pies among 5 with 2 also getting the lobster salad sandwich which had a tuna fish vibe and wasn't very lobster tasting but still was tasty and good. Atmosphere was top notch. Very cozy and well decorated. Only suggestion is to get a bigger, nicer TV and put it under the window at the bar. Not too much room so get there earlier than you think.

I’m giving the Canoe Club only 3 stars because our service was bad this evening. It took an hour for our pizza to arrive. When we inquired we were told the printer was to blame but the server shouldn’t have waited for us to ask about our pizza before informing us of the problem. A half-hearted apology was offered by Olivia but after an hour she should have done more to make up for our inconvenience. That being said the food was very good but we were very hungry after waiting an hour and I don’t know if we will come back again. There were however a lot of vegetarian options.
