So this is my 1st time here only ever driving by and noticing the small shop in a spot that was something else I'd just ignore. Finally, on a boring, lazy, no cooking type of Saturday I figured I'd get a bowl. I walked in, selected choices from the menu. I had to have "Yami sauce" explained to me, which the guy did in the most friendly way. I couldn't wait to get home. Well my 3 minute drive couldn't have been longer because what I ate, I cannot describe. It wasn't a new flavor, it was a familiar flavor done in its final form. A masterpiece. 10\10...

Best poke bowls I have had! I have been a frequent customer here for 2 years. The customer service is fantastic. the poke bowls are extremely affordable compared to other places that charge twice as much and don't taste nearly as good. The rolled ice-cream is also really good. The people who work here are very hard working and definitely care a lot when it comes to making quality poke bowls. They are also really quick when making them so if you are looking for takeout poke bowls nearby I would highly recommend. For a few years they were only doing takeout but recently reopened the sit-down area, the seating is really cute! So I would also recommend to sit down too. The atmosphere is really nice. 12/10! Discovered Poke while living in CA and loved it. Recently moved back to Danbury and was excited to find Poke available here.

I was surprised that the format was not "build as you go", Chipotle style, as I was used to, and that all ingredients are ordered in advance. Only allowing one mix in choice was a lot different from most establishments. Same is true with only one choice of topping. They also need to add some "crunchies" for toppings, such as dried onion or garlic, as the crunch is an important factor.
