Worst experience I can ever recall. I order a chicken sandwich from the drive through. When I stopped in the parking lot to look at it. There was a tremendous amount of moisture collected in the bag. The bun was soggy (wet) and breading on the chicken was a medium/dark shade of brown. Not the light color you would expect from breading. There were just pickles on it. I went inside and asked what was supposed to be on the sandwich and the nice gentleman said there were pickles and butter. My stomach immediately turned over and I felt sick. He offered to put lettuce and something else on it and immediately I thought of the wet bun and brownish colored breading. I said no thank you and threw it away rushing out before I threw up all over the floor. I traveled extensively in the US for years, eaten at some of the worse restaurants america has to offer, and have never seen anything so disgusting. Sure the idea that someone thought it a good idea to put pickles and butter on breaded chicken is stomach turning but the water logged wet bun and brownish colored breading was truly unspeakably revolting. Never again will I go anywhere near...
Read moreAlways have gone to this McDonald's. Tonight was my last time. Must of eaten at this one over 200 times in the last ten years. Probably more. Tonight 2 mcdoubles, 2 small fries and a large coke. Drive up window had no desire in taking order. Very lethargic. Got both burgers with no pickles, had a few pickle pieces in them. I'm allergic to them. Wrapper's on both were slightly open, like they pulled pickles off burgers already made. Fries were cold. Threw everything away. Large coke was good, such one star rating. I've had a few bad things the past few months but would say just a bad day. I'm sorry, but taking pride in what you serve someone is so important, especially if someone has a crazy food issue that could cause harm. My whole family has had the same issues lately on a regular basis, along with a few friends. We've all decided who ever is running this franchise does not have a good grasp on what is going on in their store. It's a shame, it use to be a great spot. Best McDonald's on the North Shore. Now it is one of the worst. I have never written a bad review on a food venue, but tonight was the last...
Read moreI was asked about my star rating math. So let me break it down in case it confuses anyone else.
Overall: 5 Stars. (5 + 3 + 5)/3= 5
Food: 5 Stars. I got exactly what I wanted and it tasted exactly like I thought it would. You can even go to Japan and the food will taste the same. For me this is a feature not a bug.
Service: 3 Stars. It was the drivethru, they didn't throw the bag of food at me, so average stars.
Atmosphere: 5 Stars. The music that was played, coincidently, was a mix of W.A.S.P., Lita Ford, Queensryche, Metallica and Alice Cooper (who is starting a new tour soon). The outdoor ambience was typical New England March weather: cold and rainy, but to be expected. I was able to stay in my car and yell my order at their loudspeaker, while remaining toasty warm.
So that all equals an average of 5 stars. (No it doesn't, not really, but it's an internet review - I'm sure you get...
