i always have a great meal from Mikes. the salads are the best around... honey barbecue steak tip is as good as it gets. the meat is tender(unlike another pizza shop down the road where you’ll be chewing for 10 minutes on one tip), not chewy or fatty, and has tons of flavor. you are getting a great value too... it costs $16 for the steak tip salad, which is enormous. i recommend getting the steak on the side. the salad is always FRESH, and they give you a ton of everything. thick slices of cucumbers, lots of tomato, onion, cabbage, feta, olives, carrots(i hate carrots) and a good house dressing. you can substitute romaine for iceberg at no extra cost. most places are very stingy on the amount of toppings they put in their salad, Mike’s is the opposite.the chicken kabob is another good choice. similar to the steak, it’s a huge portion. the chicken has a mustard flavored marinade, which is delicious. the employees are always friendly and respectful, and the restaurant is clean. i recommend coming here for lunch, as you’ll have enough leftover for dinner. highly recommended!

This is normally a great place. However, this most recent order I got was completely wrong. I ordered a Ham and Cheese club with no lettuce, tomato, or onion, and 2 large pizzas. But when the delivery driver arrived with my food, the reciept had 2 large pizzas and a ham and cheese sub, which is seemingly what I was handed by the driver. But then when I opened up paper for the 'sub' it turned out to not even be a sub, but was instead a ham and cheese wrap, with onions, tomatoes, and pickles. If it was just the simple mistake of a sub instead of a club I wouldn't have even cared enough to write this review, but the fact that the receipt AND the food were both wrong in different ways completely baffles me.

Had lunch here before heading out to the Salem Witch Museum. Daughter and I had their Meatball sub and both agreed it was delicious. My husband ordered the pepperoni calzone and he said it was okay. He felt it was a little greasy to his liking, but tasted good. My daughters boyfriend ordered their Hometown favorite pizza. He liked it, but the rest of us all agreed it was to sweet and not to our liking. We also ordered the garlic cheese sticks and they were delicious. The gentleman who took our order was friendly and attentive. Overall location was kept clean. Again We all agreed the meatball sub was the best.

Last night I figured I'd give them another try only because they are located very close to me. I had been driving further away to other sub shops when we wanted to have take-out for diner because I got a terrible sub there last year. I figured maybe it was an anomaly and I will give them another shot. We ordered three subs, and my adult son went to pick them up. He got there, was told it would be a few more minutes so he paid for them and sat down. The place was not busy being a Tuesday night. He waited over forthy-five minutes after the time they said the subs would be ready for them, which were actually ready shortly after he went in. They were place on top of a shelf or oven and forgotten about, even though he reminded them and was sitting there waiting. Not until my wife called there and asked what was going in did they find the order. No apology or any acknowledgement of their screw up, nothing, just an "oh well". The subs themselves were not good, I'm sure in no small part to being left sitting around for close to an hour for no reason. So that is the second time I have had issues with them and it will absolutely be the last time I give them a chance. They dont care about their customers and the food isn't anything to write home about anyway. All done...

Mikes place only gets 1 star because in order to write a review, you have to rate. Whe you place a dilivery order they charge a fee added to what you order...couldn't understand why 1 pizza would cost so much so I inquired...was told 2.00 charge ok, not a problem...so I'm originally thinking to give the dilivery person a 3.00 tip but now knowing I'm charged 2.00 already I give 1.00 at the door....the dilivery person threw the pizza at us....called spoke with manager....he tells me the driver does not get the 2.00....my? Is why not.....so the owner makes extra on the deal and the driver gets stiffed...not from us!! But from the crook that owns the joint!! I will never do business with that crooked so & so ever again Our apologies to the dilivery person....I hope you read this & know who the real scrooge is!! Shame on...
