Mama Possum — Restaurant in Danville

The news anchor on WDBJ did a foodie visit to Mamas Possum - we decided to go check it out for the burgers and hot dogs he boasted about. There are two of these restaurants in Danville. We went to the older drive-in thinking that the original restaurant would have the best of the best. The waitress was great, polite and efficient. Now for the food - my hamburger was not hot, the patty itself was from a frozen, thin patty of meat. Quick stop for inexpensive beef hotdog and soup. They have plenty of parking and believe it or not plenty of seating indoors too!

The older lady manning the cash register was not friendly at all. This was my 1st time coming here and she expected me to know what I wanted already. I asked to for a menu. Could be her off day as she left shortly after I ordered my meal and paid.
