We kept saying we would go, but we should have done it sooner. The entrees, sauces, hand made pasta, and desserts are so good that if they upgraded their salad to mixed field greens, their menu could take on Schoolfield. There is a naturally talented Italian sous chef in there We were initially put off by the outside (and frankly, the inside seating). It's exceptionally clean and maintained, but very diner-esque. Then, secondary disappointment over the lack of Italian wine. Yes, we are aware that we live in Danville! Praying that someone gets brave enough to put some Barolo, valpolicella, amarone, Tuscan, etc on a list. If they did, we would move in and name our own table. The people that work here LOVE the guests and the food. If you know what hand made olive oil foccacia is, and your foot has not made it through this door, then I am taking your table.

Oh. My. God. Okay... We just tried this little restaurant for the first time. I am in love! Liz was our waitress, and was so very accommodating and cheerful - asking the chef questions for me... She even asked about pesto (not on the menu). The chef made tortellini pesto for me, and consequently I am writing this review from heaven - it is that good! My husband pronounced the extra cheese pizza delicious! And the cheese stick starter aced the stretch test! We will be back... Probably next weekend. I think we have found a new date night place!

Nice cute restaurant! They need to do some work with the interior, cuz it feels empty. Maybe put a decorative wall between those tables in the center of the room. Anyway, The food was yummy yummy! My Rosemary Chicken was very tender and delicious. Pasta and bread taste like they were made in this restaurant. Which is a big thumbs up! The service was great! 👍🏻 I Will come back again if I’m driving through the town again!

We went there today, because Trip Advisor rated it as #2 for Italian and Pizza.

They were right. We got the Veggie Pizza, and it was very good.

One of the things, and this might seem a minor thing to most readers, but, the Grated Cheese glass jar was cold to the touch.

Just like it should be. Once that Cheese is opened, it needs to be refrigerated and not left out. So great job keeping/serving the Parmasean Cheese as it is supposed to be - Cold.

The only thing we were a little disappointed in was that when we first entered, it was not busy, and the only person seeming to be on duty, was on the phone with a Customer and our prescence was seemingly ignored. Usually at that point we would have left, but decided to give them a chance.

Also, it was a bit dark in there, and it would have been neat if Italian Music had been playing, instead of the 80's music, but the music as it was, was a good choice.

This restaurant is Handicapped Accessible.

Our Server was Lacy. She was very attentive and she really seemed to like being there.

As I said in the beginning we got the Pizza, and we also got the Salad Bar, which was very fresh. For dessert, we got the Cannoli and the Honey Graham Cheesecake. The only criticism I have, is that although good, the Ricotta Cheese in the Cannoli was not as cheesy tasting or heavy as one would expect a homemade Cannoli to be like.

For an owner who is seemingly originally not of Italian heritage, he does know how to make Italian Food, and I'd highly recommend going there to

Our Cuisine. Translation of La Nostra...

Our waitress was kind, knowledgeable about their offerings as well as which items were freshly prepared (everything there, except the pasta, is made from scratch. Food was fast and delicious and generous portions. The atmosphere was a bit casual & could really use some decorative updates, but with the food and service being so delicious and fast and friendly, we found we focused on our conversation and not the decor. It was a birthday celebration and I was not disappointed!! They were even accomodating in allowing us to bring in the homemade cupcakes a friend had made for me without a word or a side eye… something I was fully expecting but no! They were only too happy to provide extra plates and wish me a happy bday. When your waitress says she got the job after coming to eat once, so she could slowly work her way down the menu, you know the food is pretty tasty. We will go back again next time we are in the mood for Italian and...

I had the special, spaghetti carbonara with chicken. This was perhaps the best pasta I have ever had. The creaminess of the egg and the richness of the cheese and the fatty, smoky hit from the bacon was absolutely delicious. The sauteed chicken that was spread on top, while beautifully browned, was completely unnecessary and was virtually unseasoned. I'm guessing it's included as a nod to those diners who reflexively look for meat in their entree. The pasta was so good that it didn't matter. I threw some salt on the chicken and it was fine. The tiramisu my family ordered was also quite good, sweet and light with nice coffee flavor.

Service was great, the beer and wine selection was good. Prices were totally fair.

The atmosphere wasn't much; the restaurant is clean and fittings are new, but there is nothing fancy here. The layout is odd, compromised by the need to accommodate a buffet in the middle...
