Summer Hokkaido — Restaurant in Danville

Won’t be going back, service was zero stars, food was mid, was over charged. I want a refund.

I came in around three, it took a minute to get seated, I ask what beer there is and ask for one they had, a few minutes late the server appears with the drink. I ordered a lunch special, ate it, the bill came and I was surprised the lunch price was not the one I received. I was charged the dinner price. Very disappointed that they would not help. Apparently the ticket said I was 6 minutes late.

Same or better quality food can be had anywhere else in town for cheaper. The place was dead. The server didn’t even ask me how I was, the most they talked about was how I was wrong that it took 6 minutes to get seated and get...

Had never tried sushi, while delivering for Doordash I got to see most of the menu as I worked. I asked questions of the owners and they were infomainfor and honest. I decided this past Sunday evening to try 2 of their most popular dishes(Crunchy Crab Meat Roll and Da Bomb Spicy Roll) when I asked for the menu and told the owner I wanted to try Sushi finally, she said I should wait till later. That night, being a Sunday, they were running low on fresh ingeingredi and another day later that week would be a better time to order some. I thanked her and today I went back, orders the 2 items and learned I love Sushi. I look forward to trying even more of the menu...

Low quality food. It’s obvious they freeze their food before preparing. Appetizers were mushy and tasted freezer burnt. Price was cheap...which explains the food. This is NOT a hibachi experience so don’t expect the onion volcano. The food would be on par with Panda Express if it were left out all day. Not fresh. We evn went before the dinner rush. Sushi was also not fresh and even the sushi rice was old. Will never go back. It’s apparent that folks don’t know what real Japanese food should taste like because for some reason there were a lot of patrons on a Friday night. 2 stars only because the price was low, so you get what...
