Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Daphne

No wonder this location has a 2.8. So disappointed. I’m thinking a mgmt issue. Side door (the main door from the parking lot) was locked..later we realize we can exit there, just not enter. Not a big deal but maybe a sign would be helpful. We were there 30 minutes and 7 different sets of customers yanked on the door and didn’t understand how to get in. Out of plastic utensils and tea. When we politely let the staff know, we were told “yeh that’s why I usually go for the water.”..really?? 😳 Cashier on her phone. Told the kids (the staff) about the door being locked from the outside they just started at me like I had a third eye. No reply. Odd. Chips were stale. Not a deal killer. Queso had a different flavor and texture (curdled milk). The chicken pastor bowl was good. Bonus. The ceiling really does look unfinished…again, odd. Hate to repeat other reviews but yes, Moes or Taco Mama is so much better, you always feel super welcome and the staff is spot on! I ordered $30 worth of food tonight from Chipotle. Two simple steak salads. I ordered and paid online. We arrived at the time for pick-up and sat for 10 minutes at the window without any acknowledgement. A male employee was in sight near the window, but never acknowledged us, even after a toot on our horn (which I hated doing). Please note, there was no one else in the pick-up line. Finally, a female employee ventured by and asked how long we’d been there. Our order was sitting there the whole time, in sight. We finally received it and went home to eat. The order was entirely cold. That, in itself is bearable, BUT the meat and rest of the salad was so spicy hot, we were left with burnt mouths. Even my friend who eats peppers and extremely spicy food couldn’t eat it. Me? I tried, but had to quit. I attempted to reach the company online and was caught in a circle where I could never offer comments directly online. Therefore, I’m posting this review. I will try to contact the manager of my location tomorrow by phone. There’s no excuse for serving food that’s inedible in these days and...

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, I have eaten at this chipotle many times and it gets worse and worse. The first time I ordered her the chicken was hard to eat and I had a long piece of blonde hair in my guacamole. I do mobile orders and they I watched how they measure the portions they literally do not use a spoon. They use a small sauce cup to measure protein portions. They gave me literally a half cup of queso for my side. This is by far the only chipotle I’ve ever been to that gives such small portions. Aside from that, the food doesn’t taste like other chipotles. The cooks over cook the chicken and the rice has been crunchy a few times.

Honestly I try to like this location since it’s so close to my home and the one in Mobile is very far away for food. But I think I’m done eating here, if it’s gonna be this bad they probably should’ve just avoided opening chipotle. This location needs new management and cooks forsure but the pay is low so I understand why it’s hard to get...
