The owner of this Popeyes should be embarrassed of their operating this week. I placed a mobile order and arrived at Popeyes around 8:20pm to be yelled at by workers in the parking lot that âwe closedâ multiple times. I tried to tell them I already paid for an order but they just keep saying âwe closedâ and walk away. I have to pull around and knock on the window to get who I assume is the manager, who claims they close at 8pm due to short staff, when 5 workers are present in sight bagging food. Turns out that they are actually open, just only filling doordash orders. I informed her that I wanted a refund and that this was the second night this week they have closed early with no sign or hours adjusted online anywhere. She claimed that it is beyond her control and refunded my money, then preceded to tell me how she doesnât like when McDonaldâs forgets cheese on her cheeseburger as if that is comparison at all to me paying for an order and then being yelled at âwe closedâ as of Iâm supposed to just drive away having lost money, like oh well, they got me this time! I told her I would email corporate trying to get the hours changed, and then magically, not only did the restaurant open to me, but I was offered free food! I donât know if this was an attempt at a bribe, but it didnât work. I did accept the food, but here I am writing this review and still contacting...
Read moreI ordered through the door dash app at 926 pm. I ordered a three piece blackened tender meal. The meal that they sent me was about 8 pieces of ball up fried tenders that had been sitting in the heat lamp for several hours. I called the store the very next and was met aggressively on the phone with a woman who said she was the manager. I tried to explain to the woman that the food that was sent out was not edible. The woman was very rude and cut me off every time I would try to talk. I asked her why would they serve something like that and she said âwe donât cook fresh chicken after 930 pmâ!!I went ahead to ask why is the store still taking orders past the time yâall serve fresh food and why didnât yall just cancel the order instead of serving bad food. The woman continued to yell and say they donât have any control over what door dash allows on the end. When I realized that I wasnât going to get a resolution I asked her for corporate information. The woman states they donât have a corporate and they are franchised. I asked the woman surely there must be some kind of point of contact besides yourself? She asked me why didnât I call the store last night and never provided a contact number. The food was hard and old , I wouldnât feed that to my dogs. Here is a pic...
Read moreAlways good food, and the drive-through guy was great. He seemed to know everything available even if it wasn't on the menu board, knew prices, etc. But like everything else, rising prices are a problem. Update: I went through the drive-through again. Y'all have some of the BEST people working the window. Despite rising prices, I would go again just because Yvonney (sp?) made me smile after a long, hard day at work. Pleasant, smiling and laughing, got my order right and my change right. Can't ask for more than that in a server. She rocked! Updated update: Popeyes still tastes good, and the people are still great, but... the tenders have been sliced down to about a quarter inch thick and bulked back up with even more breading. They took the green beans off the menu, so there's not a single healthy option for a diabetic. My choices are cajun rice, red beans and rice, mashed potatoes, fries, and a biscuit with every meal. I ordered 2 "dinners" and got chicken, mashed potatoes, and a biscuit each for 2 people for nearly $25. No drinks. Between rising prices, smaller pieces of chicken, and not a single healthy option, I think i'm done...
