I was waking myself up from snoring several times each night, and was diagnosed in a sleep study with sleep apnea. I was however was unable to wear the CPAP mask so I went to Dr. Glass to inquire about the possibility of obtaining a dental appliance that I could wear at night that would keep the airway in my throat open. He took an impression of my bite and fabricated a custom mouthpiece that would move my lower jaw slightly forward. Since using it for over three months I have never experienced snoring again. The initial appliance has an upper and lower piece which is connected by a plastic band on each side that comes in different lengths and tensions to enable you to get the right fit. Once acclimated the two sections can be fixated (joined with cement) which makes the appliance more comfortable with the bands removed. The only problem I experienced was that for the first several days my jaw muscles were sore the next morning until they became accustomed to the device but that was easily resolved by chewing sugarless gum for a few minutes. I had several periodic visits to Dr. Glass to adjust the device and make sure it fit perfectly. He could not have been more helpful in resolving what was becoming a very serious health issue for me. Everyone you interact with is knowledgeable, patient, and concerned for your comfort and extremely caring and kind with your kiddos! They thoroughly explain the process, deliver the promised results. My oldest son just had his braces removed, and his smile is beautiful. My youngest son just had his braces put on this week and we are expecting the same great results. All of the dental technicians are well trained and explain everything step by step. We especially appreciate Dr. Glass's personal involvement with the kids at every appointment and his positive encouragement. They are very responsive when you have an emergency and special attention. We believe they have developed the perfect formula for a well run orthodontic practice. And, they actually add some fun into the equation with special incentives and fun contests for the kids. You guys if you are looking for a great Orthodontist and Team. Stop looking and seriously book the appointment. The atmosphere and customer service is absolutely perfect. I know, nothings perfect right. However, I never had an issue within the two years of being a client. Yes, I said never! They are courteous and happy individuals. My initial thoughts were within my first few visits that would change. Ha! It did not…I broke a wire which cause excruciating pain in my jaw. The office was closed. I received a call the next morning stating someone will open the office and take care of the issue right away. What time can you be here? I was completely blown away.

I definitely recommend Glass Orthodontics! My teeth are now perfect..I absolutely love my smile. Now if you are looking for me to post my before pictures. That’s not happening lol.
