Bocadillos Restaurant Tacos & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Dardanelle

Well I cant tell you anything about the food. I've only been to the restaurant section once so far and it consisted of me waiting in the booth for at least 30 minutes without being asked what we wanted to eat. They got to everybody but us. That's not to say the food would be bad. It was a busy busy day and there was ONE poor guy doing EVERYTHING alone... when we left without being served, we could tell he felt genuinely bad. So I'd give it another chance someday. 3 stars for bad staffing. Help the damn guy out man.... The ice cream though, I LOVE!! They have a good variety of flavors. So far I've had reese's, snickers, pine, and cheese.... yes cheese. Sounds kinda iffy right? Try it. Do it. You wont regret. My favorite right now is 2 scoops of pine ice cream with a square of flan. Cost just over 10 bucks.

Edit: I've had their actual food now and it's authenic, delicious, and the size of some of it... Wow!!! I ordered a torta this last time. Didn't expect a sandwich that big... I was happy about it. (It comes with fries I just didn't choose fries because maybe it would lessen the price. It's a little pricy here......

FRESH authentic food here. All the staff was sooo super nice and hospitible. I liked the interior very festive. I have never saw an ice cream scetion at a Mexica place. I talked to customers that came in a d all had fabukous thangs to say about the ice cream. Only bad thang I can say is the salsa with. Hips that come out is a lil more liquidy than I am used to but I liked the taste. I was there for the CHEAT MEAL challenge which was a 7lb burrito filled with choice of meats, I chose ground meat and steak. They added refried beans, loads of tomato based rice, cheese, green verdei sauce, lettuce, onions, diced tomatoes then they browned the burrito on the grill. I wasn't sure of this place and I already have my favorite taco spot, so it took me a while to this place out, and I am so glad I did. There is a reason this place has almost 5 stars... Upon entering was greeted by very friendly staff, they were very fast to get my drink, chips and salsa. The inside was very clean as well we're the bathrooms. I was lucky enough to come in on a Tuesday when tacos are only $1. I had 3 chicken tacos and they were very good, some of the best I've had in Arkansas. After my meal our server asked us if we wanted to have some free samples of their homemade ice cream. They had so many flavors to try, I ended up going with banana pudding ice, it was so so good, my friend had the funnel cake a la mode which was also amazing. I will definitely be coming back.
