This is definitely the best McDonald's in this area. I live and work near the Atkins and the one on 331. I've been getting increasingly discouraged from returning because every trip to these two leave me frustrated for one reason or another. But, I stopped by this one while out riding my bike, primarily because I didn't know the area and it was extremely easy to get in and out of. First impression, I couldn't believe how fast they were moving customers through. Granted, I normally stop during a rush but, I've become accustomed to a 15 to 20 minute wait. Not here. Again, I was on my motorcycle. So, I was trying to get my gloves off so I could get my wallet out before I got to the window. No such luck. By the time I put my bike in neutral, the line was moving again. I suddenly felt bad because I held the line up an extra 30 seconds. Lol My order had a special request so, I was told it would be one minute. I asked if I had time to park my bike. They told me to pull over into the shade and they'd bring it out to me. This was extremely nice of them. On top of that, was the food. At the other two I go to, I haven't had decent fries in months. I don't mind waiting several minutes when they are obviously very busy. But, I should get hot food. The 331 store seems to think this is impossible. So once again, I was pleasantly surprised. My fries were delicious and perfect! I'll say this. My experience at McDonald's over the last six months has made me question myself. Maybe I've gotten too old for Mickey D's. Maybe I'm becoming a Karen because every time I stop, I think about calling to speak to the manager. But, I don't. I just grit my teeth and eat cold french fries. But this stop has restored my faith. Mcdonald's can still be a delicious treat and still have the best french fries in the business. This location shows that when the staff still cares, they can provide an outstanding heart disease in a bag. đ I know these three stores all all owned by the same people, along with the Arkansas Ave location. I was coming there two or three times a week, sometimes more. Because of the service I've received, it has been weeks since I've been there. So, I'm begging you. Do something! You have proven you can run a really good McDonald's. The other ones you own need to learn from your...
Read moreThis used to be my favorite place to grab a hot mocha but sadly, their drinks and their customer service have gone down hill. I gave this location another try last week and kept my fingers crossed. Once again my Hot Mocha came without chocolate. This happens quite often at ALL locations and while it's frustrating, it's usually not a big deal. I just just let them know and they realize the mistake and fix it.
Well, this time when I told the drive thru worker that the drink didn't taste right and I thought whoever made it had forgotten to put the chocolate in, she told me that it WAS made correctly and that mochas DON'T have chocolate. Assuming that she was new, I told her that they did have chocolate and the drink tasted very bad without it. She very angrily replied "That is how they are supposed to taste"!!!! I assured her that I bought one almost everyday and no, they were not supposed to taste bad. She then very rudely told me to pull up and wait. When someone finally brought my coffee out it had so much chocolate in it that it was undrinkable. She probably filled up half the cup! Well, I guess she got me back for complaining about no chocolate!
My advice to Mcdonalds-Coffee drinkers are pretty loyal to their specific drink and can be very picky about the way it's made. Hot Mochas from Mcdonalds are my go-to drink. They need to be consistent at every location. When I come I am not asking for anything special or extra. I am not being picky and asking for 3 sugars and 3.75 pumps of chocolate. I just want my drink the way it is supposed to be made. Again, this is a problem at all McDonald's locations. Please get the consistency issues fixed; don't make me go back to Starbucks! Also let your employees know that telling a customer that a product IS SUPPOSED TO TASTE BAD is not good...
Read moreI went here for an iced coffee before work, sat at the drive through for 10 minutes with no answer while cars in the other lane were getting orders and going through so I pulled forward since I had a mobile order thinking maybe the lane wasnât working checked in at the first window then get to the second window and they gave me a hot coffee I said oh I ordered and iced not a hot sorry they took it back and then asked me to pull forward where I sat for another 15 minutes I noticed there were no cars there at all and I needed to get to work so I pulled back to drive through on the lane that people were ordering in previous day there for 5 minutes no answer pulled to the window and no one was there so I sat there for a couple minutes and finally I had to leave because I had 10 minutes to make the 9 minute drive to work. I called while I left to tell them to just refund the mobile order because on my end on the app it said they had fulfilled it so I couldnât cancel it and they told me to go through drive through I told them I sat at drive through and the window and no one was there and I was already on my way to work before I was late the lady on the phone was rude to me while I was trying to be polite even though I was irritated that I had wasted 30 minutes on an iced coffee and never even got it she said she would refund it but I honestly donât think they will. I try not to go here unless itâs my last option for coffee because Iâll add different syrups and drizzles etc to make it taste better and I always end up with a plain iced coffee but Iâve never had them just basically...
