Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Darien

I have never in my life dealt with such disrespectful people. Absolutely terrible customer service! I deliver with Post-mates and when I arrived to pick up the delivery order I was given I was immediately told “We don’t do that so get out!” What kind of customer service employee speaks to someone like that? I showed the cashier my cell phone with the order and explained to him that I was picking up for Post-mates and he then went into the back to show what I’m guessing was the manager. I was able to hear the man in the back say that “We don’t sell jalapeño poppers”, which is totally okay and I was a bit confused about it myself. But when the cashier came back up to the counter with my phone he asked me if I was trying to scam them. Which I was NOT trying to do at all. I was just trying to pay for the deliver I was supposed to pick up and leave. I also heard him say I was the second person who came in trying to pick up the exact same order. I then knew that it must be some sort of mistake whether it be on Post-mates end or theirs so I had no problem trying to cancel the order then leaving. He asked me what Post-mates was and I told him it was a delivery service just like Uber Eats or Grub hub. He then proceeded to show me his Uber Eats and Grub hub tablets saying that he had those two right here and that I must be trying to scam them and that he “didn’t know what the hell I wanted from him.” I don’t understand why an employee would talk to someone who is trying to give them business like that. I then told him “Okay that’s fine but I don’t need your attitude.” Then walked out of the store and cancelled the Post-mates order. I don’t know who he thought he was or what I was doing but speaking from someone who has worked in the food business IT IS NEVER OKAY TO TALK TO ANYONE LIKE THIS! I will definitely NEVER be back again and will make sure to tell all friends and family to not even bother giving them service. I don’t know whether it was because I’m dark complected or what but there was definitely some reason behind why I was treated so poorly. I wish I could rate them Zero stars because this was completely ridiculous. Teach your employees how to talk to customers. It’s no wonder NOBODY was in the lobby. Ordered the calzone with roast beef was rotten meat this rosati's locations should be shut down and so should the owner I called the corporation in oakbrook and they call the owner of the franchise of rosati's and she said the meat was fine it was green when I got it and it had a bad smell to it looks like it's been sitting out for weeks and weeks the color of the roast beef with green and shiny and she wanted me to bring it in I would not even keep it in my house I ended up throwing it out she refused to refund me the money for an $8 cause on very rude owner. this owner should be shut down and the better business bureau will be called on them along with house clothes I physically got sick off a bite of the sandwich and went to the ER they will be getting a lawsuit in Darien Illinois rosati's. They said at the ER that I was due to food poisoning and I told him what had happened and they could not believe it themselves at the Hinsdale hospital. Do not eat at this location I warn you they won't they are poisoning people. she takes won't charge or blame for serving bad food and will fight with you and saying that her food is great when it's rancid meat. Ingredients that she is serving is old and rotten. She claims that the food is fresh I'm going to call health code on her and have her kitchen checked out I will guarantee you it will not meet code do not repeat do not eat that this location rosati's of Cass avenue Darien Illinois!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?¡¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I honestly didn’t even want to give this place 1 star because they aren’t even deserving of that. We received a burnt pizza that was delivered to the house. The kids of course dug in unknowingly realizing that the pizza was very much disgusting not only to the eye but the taste as well. We called the restaurant back and spoke with Chelsea who was not interested to hear what our concerns were or cared to display proper customer service skills. We ended up going to the restaurant to ask for a manager, Vicki “the manager” was the most rude, inconsiderate, very disrespectful person in a management position I’ve ever encountered. She was not listening to our simple complaint about the service coming from her staff or this establishment, and failed to respond in an appropriate manner. All she had to say is why did our kids eat a burned pizza and why did we proceed to allow them to eat it if it was so bad. Kids are kids and that should have not been a question to ask a paying customer. She offered a $10 credit toward a $40 plus service and she began to ask my fiancé what does he do for a living (in the midst of us already in a state of disappointment with this situation) As she now is racial profiling him. Why does that even matter? This establishment will not get another dime of my money and anyone reading this should take a second thought before you order anything from this place. Disgusting!!!
