Ovivi's brings a breath of fresh air to the area with a modern spin on American style dishes. It's a very large space with multiple options to sit, when you walk in on the left you have a casual dinning area for a more intimate experience, if you walk through and go towards the back you are greeted to a large dining room with entertainment. I sat at the bar and was greeted by very friendly employees and also a nice size TV in the middle, unfortunately I didn't come when there was a game on but I can see the vision of enjoying it, which I will next time. It's a full bar they have pretty much all the stuff I would drink. I had a gin and tonic and it was in a tall glass, presentation was good. I ordered the skirt steak and it was so tasty. The head chef Andrew came over and made sure that it was how I liked it. Overall the experience I had was delightful. I really like the ambiance of the place. It's nice to have a restaurant that comes around that isn't a chain, this place is unique to the area. One thing I would like to see in the future is a lounge area. I think it would be pretty awesome to have a space where if I'm not hungry and I want to kick back and relax with a few friends and have a few drinks that I can do that without sitting around a table. Other than that, I think guests will have a great time.
P.S For dessert I had a pistachio...
Read moreI had a fantastic dining experience at Ovivis recently and wanted to share how impressed I was with both the food and the service. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Our server, Shannon was absolutely delightful. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our entire meal. Shannon made us feel right at home, answered all our questions with a smile, and checked in regularly without being intrusive. Her friendly demeanor and professionalism truly added to our evening. As for the food it was delicious! I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, and it was cooked to perfection juicy, flavorful, served with the house made chipotle aioli sauce that in my opinion was phenomenal on a perfectly toasted brioche bun. My friend had the skirt steak, which was tender, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. Both dishes were generous in portion and clearly made with care. They have live music and a very nice “speakeasy” bar that I liked very much. Overall, we had a lovely time and will definitely be returning. Big thanks to Shannon for making our visit exceptional...
Read moreI'm not too sure about all those 5-star reviews. So, we popped by last Friday around 8 pm. As soon as we stepped in, they were all about asking if we had reservations. The place was totally empty, which got me a bit surprised. The gal at the door was sweet, though. I said we didn't have reservations, and she directed us to the back, which was cool. Even at the back, it was pretty empty except for another table. The servers were all smiles, but the food was just okay. The drinks were good but way too pricey. It was 80s & 90s night with a DJ spinning tunes we liked. My main gripe? We shelled out nearly $200 for a Churrasco and some chicken thing my wife ordered. Now, I don't mind splurging $200+ if the food blows my mind, but this wasn't it. Really regret not sticking to our usual spots. The food was meh, and for that price, we could've had a way better meal with a bigger meat portion. I get it, running a big joint like that must cost a lot, but $200 for what...
