Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Davison Township

Hello there I wish to share a concern As a long time customer of this franchise in Davison Mi. Over 25 years now . Twice in the last month when asked By the same 2 gentlemen at the front door where we would like to sit i stated booth not by the window as its cold and drafty by the window -8f outside and hardly any heat in the window section And both times we Were placed by the window. The first time I blew it off tonight when one of the same young gentleman took me over to the same exact spot same booth by the window. I looked at him and pointed to the half empty seating in the center of the restaurant and said no id like to sit there he stated/ We have no servers for that area ,really because there's 2 servers there now serving 3 tables Ok whatever with in 10 minutes of being placed at the cold window seating I look over and he seats 3 more tables where I wanted to sit . At this point I'm fuming and almost walked out but to salvage my night out with my wife . I let it go . I am at a loss as to why your door greeters or whatever there title is have zero clue what customer service is about . When asked where to sit when I state booth not by the window I expect to be seated not by the window and not lied to about why I cannot sit where clearly there are open tables and plenty of available servers . This is not even during the busy rush of prime dinner time . Clearly the Davison Mi. Store Greeters Need training in customer service or customer relations . The servers & cooks on the other hand all do an outstanding job . But you need to address the two Young gentlemen that greet you at the door and take you to your seating. Until this lack of customer service is addressed I will not be returning to Applebee's to spend my hard earned money to sit in a freezing booth near the window .When on both occasions I requested not to be...

I went to Applebee's last night with my husband for my birthday dinner, and it will be my last visit I ever make at this location. First they sat us next to the loudest group of people, we couldn't even hear ourselves think. Then, after placing our order the waitress brings us our food without silverware or napkins and my order was completely messed up. I brought it to the waitresses attention and she brings the order that was messed up to our table again and tells us we can have it for free, to which I explained due to my diet restrictions I couldn't eat what was on that plate. She seemed annoyed with my response and took the plate back. After waiting while my husband ate, I received my order and it was mediocre at best. I couldn't even finish it... We finally received our napkins and silverware in the middle of our meal after grabbing her attention (she was more preoccupied with the large loud group of people and it was noticeable). After receiving our check we noticed that Applebee's literally did not care about making it right. It was the worst birthday meal I've ever had. When asked if we wanted dessert I didn't even want to stay long enough to give that a chance. Horrible service, horrible atmosphere. They don't make it right, they...

Food was good. Service was super slow, took 25+ min to get my all you can eat ribs and chicken. Ribs were ok, chicken strips were really good. Would get again, if I ever eat their again. Waitress kept saying our food would be right out. Yeah, kept saying that every 5 min for 15 min. When I finally got my food, I had to place another order of all you can eat chicken. Everyone at the table was done by the time I got them. I could have stayed and spent more money on drinks, but we were done. This was a joke. Manager stood in front of me every so often, I made eye contact numerous times. She never came over. Ok, all good. But at the end, she asked how everything was. I said slow, she says, but was the food good. Yes, it was, but had I not been in a group, I would have left, said more, but we just wanted to leave. Then I show her my military ID, Applebee's offers serviceman 10% discount. Nope, we don't do that. Wait, what? Ok, had enough, every other Applebee's supports the vets but this one. I will not be supporting this one in the future. Not a good experience at all. Not worth my time or money. Waste of a Thursday night out...
