Benjamin's the Burger Master — Restaurant in Dayton

I had a double cheese burger from this restaurant yesterday. Never been here before. What I got was a culinary insult. When I took it out of the bag, the wrapper was SOAKED in grease. So not a good start. I took a bite of the greasiest burger I have ever seen. (That's including burgers from five guys.) The meat is literally Wendy's. I should know. I get Wendy's quite frequently. So now I had a Wendy's quality meat from not Wendy's, at what is a higher price, and soaked in a stupid amount of grease. To make things even better, the bacon on the burger was the same quality as if you fried some bacon and left it sitting out for a couple hours. As I took two more bites, I noticed the burger wasn't even cooked all the way. It was at that point I literally, not figuratively, threw the burger on the ground. Maybe the grease was just an accident? Maybe they were having a bad day. But the bacon and the burger not being cooked all the way is totally inexcusable. I will try this place at some other date. But as of right now, this is literally the worst burger I have ever had. I would take a g**d McDonald's burger...

I had to take a star away for the simple reason that the woman who took our order was dishonest. I overpaid $20.00. She realized that it was a mistake and did not give me the 20.00 back. She said 42.20, receipt was 22.20, which I didn't get until we got the tray of food. I didn't think it should be that much money for 3 burgers, 3 fries and 3 drinks, but since they were so busy, I took out more money and paid it. She had every opportunity to hand me the extra 20.00 back but she didn't. I gave her $43.00 and was given .80¢ in change. She kept looking over at us as we ate our food, which brings me to the actual review of the place. The double cheeseburgers were great, a little messy and too much for me. Next time I will order the single. The chicken and sides looked delicious. I just couldn't believe that I was ripped off and felt very uncomfortable going back to the counter. Good place, just ask to see the receipt before you give...

Usually their food is good, but today I got the bbq chicken and I ordered 3 pcs, but got four and now I see why...the chicken was dry and hard to chew. I had to pit pieces of it out because it was so dry. I was very disappointed because their food is usually good. I learned to NEVER get the bbq chicken on the buffet....I rather they tell me the chicken was old and dry than to give me an extra piece. I wanted juicy, hot chicken, not lukewarm dry, hard to chew chicken. A person could choke on that dry bbq, come on Burgermasters, feed that to the dogs, don't cover old chicken up in hbq sauce and sell it for regular price to customers that love you guys.. that's how places go out of business. I may give you another chance, but just know that you broke my expectations and heart today because I brought my daughter to your establishment and introduced you guys to her as a...
