Drip Express — Restaurant in Dayton

Shout out to the 2 gentlemen working at the Drip Express in Dayton this morning. They were not able to take orders through the drive through speaker, but they both ran out every couple of minutes telling everyone they would need to take the order at the window. As someone that has worked customer service for over 10 years, I know just how difficult it can be when the smallest things mess up. , and this world is not so forgiving ether. They both handled everything with such diligence. The line moved just as fast as it normally does (as I go there at least 2 to 3 times a week). They both had smiles and fabulous attitudes. Went to buy a muffin… menu on the drive thru said 4.29 he told me 5.48 at the window… as I drove away I thought - that’s weird is there extra tax? Gratuity added? I paid cash so it wasn’t a credit card fee. Called to ask he told me “they haven’t updated the menu prices that we increased”…. 5+ dollars for a basic muffin!!! I guess it’s my karma for being willing to spend over $4 for a freaking muffin in the first place. Place is over priced even for “inflation” go to Jennings...

We were in town for the Hippie Festival and we wanted to try a local spot for breakfast and coffee and we are so glad we did! The kindest and sweetest young lady waited on us and gave us perfect recommendations. The drinks were on point.
