New China — Restaurant in Dayton

I've had New China delivered a million times and there's never been an issue. They typically deliver within 30-45 minutes upon ordering. I've only ever ordered Hunan chicken, chicken with garlic sauce and Chicken with mixed vegetables (not a fan of the breaded chicken dishes from any Americanized Chinese restaurant) from here and both are always hot and pretty decent/run of the mill. I wish there were more variety of vegetables. It's pretty heavy on broccoli and carrot. Some onions, mushrooms, green peppers or snap peas would put these dishes over the top. The way I've always judged whether a Chinese restaurant is worth their salt is based on the quality of their hot and sour soup. New China passes that test and has excellent Hot & Sour soup which is why I still order from there. There have been times when I've polished off a large soup and was pretty sweaty. Update: I continue to use this restaurant when I am ill, it has been wonderful. Quick and delicious food, they always do my special requests as well.

I recently injured myself and was looking for good & inexpensive food I could get delivered. I used the online ordering page to order, It is simple to use and has worked perfectly 3 times so far. The lunch specials are wonderfully priced for the serving sizes. I fell in love with the hot and sour soup, it may surpass my all time favorite after 25 years at the top of my list The General Tso was good, but the Garlic chicken was amazing, and extra spicy WAS extra spicy. Perfectly cooked, still crisp veggies complemented the sauce and tender chicken. The order timing given at the top of the menu page was accurate, 20 mins on a 20-30 window, 45 in a 45-60 window. WOW today the window was 45-60 and it came in 13 minutes, in time to add that info...

Delivery always takes an hour when they're 2 minutes down the road to make something that takes 5-10 minutes to make. This past time, it took an hour & a half..

Update: The normal delivery driver is rude.. not to mention that I ordered food to work like I sometimes do & my friend wanted some too so she ordered too, but at a different time.. He thought I ordered it & seemed very grumpy, which he always seems grumpy with me, but once he realized it was my friends, he lit up like a light smiled.. I'm not sure if he's homophobic, transphobic or what, but this situation with them keeps getting worse.. Not to forget to mention that my food tasted like plastic! Done...
