Waffle House — Restaurant in Dayton

!!!!Be advised!!!! you really should do the following. inspect your food and kids food before eating, Ask your server to wash her hands before touching your Order .look over your silverware for unclean dried up food. And look over your check to make sure no extra charges are on it. As for foods taste idk my kids are only ones they ate anything.(less than half a waffle) servers were horrible and lack of management (didn't know how to properly write down or read off ordered food from ticket correctly), cold food, cook shedding like a dog with no hair nets or gloves, one employee was out side smoking walked back in and back to work (no gloves), never even looked at the sink. Another server touched broom dust pan and pieces of a broken plate she cleaned up off the floor and right back to serving no hand wash at all. (Pretty sure these 2 , plus the shedding dog cooking the food are health code violations)rude employees (not all just some. I was told I need to go on and shut up for telling two customers to watch for hair in their food when they get it. dirty silverware(has to be health code violation). They Completely messed up almost the entire order, they laid out our silverware and 3 of the 5 forks had dried up smeared food (not thoroughly washed), my grandmother's food was cold when she finally recieved all of it at different times on 3 separate plates for 2 biscuits and gravy with egg.my fiance ordered a double original Angus chili cheeseburger (she stated it taste burnt so she didn't eat)with hash browns and a drink they bring her 2 burgers and a bowl of chili never recieved her hash browns and tried to charge her for the drink?? didn't bring my kids the eggs they ordered, still got charged for them on the check. Found hair under my eggs( sent it back without touching the first bite) My oldest son was eating his waffle and egg minus the egg (still never received either order of eggs for my kids) glanced over at his plate and there was a hair laying there right where he just picked up a bite of waffle. The employee I mentioned it to tried acting like it was his hair so I had to plainly point out this was a short red hair. He has blonde hair that is longer then the one on the plate. me and my grandmother order the 5 dollar 2 biscuit and gravy with eggs and drink (a drink that we both got charged for on the check) with a side of sausage. They bring out 1 plate with two biscuits split (4 halves) and tell me we'll have to move 2 over be put both on same plate, and her a plate with eggs on it. I explained to her that was how my plate was supposed to be she needed her 2 biscuits and gravy . by the time it got there (served cold) her eggs were so cold she wouldn't eat any of it. Stay away everyone. Only plus they did give us this disaster of a meal for free(after I asked for a manager and was told there wasn't one on that shift tonight and had to tell the trainer that I refuse to pay for that disaster) thank you for that. Basically the only thing they did right was the chocolate milk for oldest boy...

On Monday 6/26/2017 I stopped in for dinner with my sister. They were empty except for one couple leaving and 3/4 waitresses & 1 cook. And yet half the tables were dirty and most of the high counter. I chose to sit at the high counter on the end. My sister and I placed our orders and watched as the staff began to clean the place. Our food was served and it was not what we had ordered but we chose not to complain and just eat it. Halfway thru the meal the Hispanic waitress was washing dishes and literally soaked us and our food. I said aloud "what the hell", and before I could say anything else the cook turned around and said "you came in with an attitude". I asked him what he meant by that and he said "we said welcome to Waffle House and you ignored us". Since when does a paying customer have to say "hi" or else he/she has an attitude?! I also asked him and the waitresses was I offensive to anyone? Did I use foul or profane language in the restaurant? The answer was no, it's just that I had an attitude but yet they couldn't describe it.

It's bad enough that the food was wrong on so many levels. My hash browns were wrong. My burger was wrong. My sisters food was wrong. And then have the waitress accidentally spray us and the food. And yes it was an accident and she truly apologized for it. But for that incompetent cook to go off was completely...

I went inside and placed an order for myself and my husband he wanted a quarter pounder with cheese with everything but onions and tomato extra pickle and a side salad with ranch I ordered a patty melt with hash browns scattered and cover double covered and I have the onions on mine when I got home his sandwich did not have anything but meat cheese and the bun, not even any condiment sauce and it didn't even have his extra pickles on it and the waitress said they didn't sale salads anymore, then after I paid $18.70 for it, also before I left I had to get a bite of my hashbrowns and noticed they didn't put extra cheese I had paid for and to get them to put the extra cheese on my hash browns because it wasn't on there and I paid for it and they were kind of burnt but I went ahead and ate them anyways and his Burger was bad bad it didn't have nothing but the cheese in the bun and to make a little piece of meat and so dry my dog wouldn't even eat it. The dad thing is my husband's party was bigger than the one I had on my pattymelt😞 so now we know why they were talking asking wonder why crystal is so busy now we know and now we know why they say go to the huddle House or one another waffle House and that's sad first time trying it in 3 years and it was that bad.
