By far the worst waffle house i've ever been to! aside from the whole restaurant being disgusting, we Came with 10 people at about 12/1am right from the airport all the tables were dirty & it took us having to tell amanda i believe her name was to clean the tables to even get a place to sit down, we ordered drinks and she brought back 3, 2 were water which nobody asked for, took 4 orders and received 2, which were cold & incorrect, onions were in my eggs, hashbrowns were burnt and she hadn't even taken our other tables order yet, she didn't know how to call out orders so the cook was reading her incorrect tickets making incorrect food, after sending her back to fix everything about 5 times and an hour and a half later this girl says she's refusing our service because it's too much for her then ran to the back...??? if she hasn't quit yet, she needs proper training or to get let go because this is definitely not the job for her & that's coming from someone who works at waffle house.... i would have grace if she was new but she's been there for 3 months which is long enough for her to have shifts where she is the only server & too long for the mistakes she was making but shoutout to patrick the cook who was trying his best to make everything right. at the end of the day 2 out of 10 people received food, outright ridiculous, i wish i got the unit number because after reading the reviews, it seems like this is normal for them and it's a bad look for...
Read moreWe love Waffle House & was happy to have a location that was close to us. We decided to stop by there today aout 2:30 pm. Not too busy with only a few tables inside. We sat down at an empty booth & waited for our server. We had only waited a few minutes when someone came over with our silverware & apologized for our wait even though we hadn't waited long & asked if we were ready to order. She was very polite took our order for both our food & drinks. This is where it went downhill. After she walked away from taking the order she never returned to our table with our drinks or even seemed to look back at our general direction. We waited & waited some more as customers came in several minutes after us receiving their drinks & one table had even gotten their food that arrived at least 15 minutes after we did. One other server did come over to ask us if we had been helped which technically we had been but that was the only interaction with any staff we had. About the 25 minute mark with no drinks or food we heard our server finally call back to the kitchen for our order after realizing she had totally forgotten us. We just got up & left. I understand things happen but we were 1 of 6 tables there. Kinda hard to forget us. No real reason to go here when the location across from the greene has never given us...
Read moreWell when I give reviews I don't think it's right to put the servers name or anyone else in my review. I do have to say our server did work at WH in Georgia. And was excellent at her job serving and working the grill. As for the other three employees, I think they were there just to collect dust. Our food overall was good, we did have one problem because we ordered an over easy egg and it really actually wasn't over easy. It was like over raw. So we would have to give the cook a B- on that one. As for the overall appearance of the restaurant it was clean. The counter could have been wiped a little bit better. And also have their drink station supplied with lids for soda products, instead of putting a coffee cup lid that was sitting on the soda fountain for who knows how long. And being more interested in the music coming from the jukebox then doing your job. I've probably eaten at least 400 WH over the years. And why do I say this? Because you probably get a better meal and service near a busy highway than one that's located in an urban market. I'm sorry Ohio, all the southern states have you beat for quality and service. I guess it's just southern hospitality that you don't have. And this was our first time at this WH, but will probably give it another try...
