Not good. First our server took care of other people who came in after us. So we sat drinkless for over 5 minutes. Then there were 3 groups seated after us and they were eating before were got our food. What did we order that took ours longer nothing, I could see they had the exact thing as we were waiting for. Thankfully the owner came and asked how everything was and after we told him our food made a quick appearance. I wonder how long it had been sitting waiting for the waitress, also, it was not piping hot. I thought the food was good, the rest of the table did not. The owner did offer us $3 off each meal. We asked for a box for what was left and ordered our desserts which also came in a to go boxes, which we didn't ask for, we had planned on eating them there. I wish we had because when we got to the car one dessert was wrong. The hostess was prompt to seat us but also walked by several times and didn't notice our lack of food or drink. We really should have left before we ordered. Not a good start to...

We really used to love this place a few years ago. We had moved and then came back to the area excited to dine here again only to be let down. My husband and I showed up at 3:30 on a Wednesday and were told since there was only two of us we couldn’t sit in any of the empty booth’s because if there were more people that showed up in bigger groups they would need to sit there.. at 3:30, on a Wednesday my husband and I couldn’t eat our food at just 1 out of all the empty booths they had, which only one other group of 3 came in to eat during the two hours we were there. That wasn’t a big issue, it just made us feel like our experience didn’t matter to them. The biggest issue was the food had really gone down hill and wasn’t even served to us at a luke warm temperature. The spinach artichoke dip was still great and I will always remember when we used to come here and absolutely love it, but that friendly atmosphere and great food seemed to disappear like with many other places over the last two to three...

This was our first experience at Nicky's and I would love to say that we were definitely return merely for the amazing customer service we received from this Layla. She is so amiable, had a great attention to detail and was extremely gracious throughout our entire dining experience. The food by far was not bad at all. If you are not a bread eater then please note that the sandwich is all come with toasted potato bread or something similar so that is something to be aware of. The fries were delicious and all the items or definitely above average. We would certainly return just for the customer service and the atmosphere. It was very comfortable experience for our family and the children are excited to come back and possibly try eating on the second floor. Thank you so much for the excellent customer service and we will see you all...

Food was tasty and everyone got a good portion. Got the reuben, and it was absolutely delicious. The saurkraut was pretty mild and could have used a little bit more of a punch, but that's just my personal taste. My grandma got the cuban and loved it. Grandpa got a smokey burger and I was surprised there was any left over from the way he was scarfing it down. Wait staff were pleasant. They were training a new staff member who was on top of everything (refills, boxes, she even noticed when we were having trouble reading the specials and came and reread them for us) aside from a tiny slip up of forgetting a pen with the check, which was practically a non-issue. Will definitely be back!

I know of no other pub that hits all the checkboxes like Nicky's Lionhead does. No this is not a paid review. A+ for food, A+ for environment, and A+ for service. Shown in the picture is the Cuban sandwich that blew me away (the real deal with smoked porked). Their fries are crispy all the way through (not crunchy) and they kind of ”melt" in your mouth so to speak. The Muffaleta chicken sandwich is something you have to try, it has an olive pesto on it and I ended up loving it (and I don't even like olives!). The environment is perfect for an afternoon lunch that you could actually have a decent, normal conversation at, without having to shout and without feeling too "barry".

We really enjoyed our meal. We picked a great time at about 3:30 pm. It was quiet and peaceful. The ambiance here is really awesome! We got chili that was mild and not too spicy but very flavorful! Of course noodles are given unless you ask otherwise (Would it be Wisconsin if it were any other way?) We both had burgers. I had the build your own that came on a potato roll and my hubby got the Smokey burger. Each of them was cooked perfectly and juicy! So so good! The fries were great as well! They were flavorful and not greasy at all! All in all I would give this place a 5/5!
