World's greatest chocolates, but customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I have been shopping here since I was a small child and, unfortunately, recently had a disappointing experience that will definitely make me hesitate to purchase gifts from Seroogy's in the future. I ordered several boxes of chocolate and some hot chocolate to give as gifts to the staff and doctors that I work with. Someone packed unsealed (faulty seal, not damage that occurred in shipping) hot chocolate powder in the box, which not only made a mess of my house when I opened it, but also stained the plastic of a few of the boxes that I had planned to give as a gift. I contacted Seroogy's and they have ignored my request to replace the damaged items (about 50 dollars of a 400 dollar order). In years of dealing with them, I have never had an issue that required any level of customer service. I was surprised and disappointed to learn that they are unwilling to stand by the quality of their product and replace items that were damaged due to the negligence of their staff. I am truly sorry to say that I would hesitate to order from them again, as I am now left without gifts...
Read moreI just spoke to the worst customer service person in my 47 years. They sent out an online order, but it is lost. He told me to call Fedex to figure it out. I asked him why the customer would have to call Fedex, why would you make the customer do the legwork to figure out where your merchandise was. He basically just said they did their job and are not willing to go any further to help me. I attempted to explain that I send out 500 packages a month and he rudely interrupted me and said he didn't care, he said he didn't care about my business, he didn't want to hear it. I was trying to tell him that I would never put a lost package on my customer, but he wanted nothing to do with hearing about that. He said, "I suppose the next thing you are going to tell me is that the customer is always right?" He had zero care about my order, zero want to help me with it, made me wonder if it was an owner's kid or manager's kid that figured they could be as rude as they want and...
Read moreI absolutely LOVE the product and supporting a small business in Wisconsin. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with an online transaction. I ordered a gift for my friend on 12/7 and received order confirmation via email. Then... nothing else. No shipping notification. No tracking info. No delivery notification, and my friend never received the package. When I checked their website on 1/10, there is no order even listed under my account. After contacting Seroogy's about it, they responded and said it shipped on 12/8 and was delivered on 12/9 and I should have received a shipping note in my email. Well, I did not. There is no shipping notification in my email or any info other than my order confirmation. So I'm just out $44 because they said it shipped, but my friend never received anything. This will be my first and last time ordering...
