I understand that mistakes happen, and that no one is perfect, which is why I have ordered from this location multiple times even after they have not delivered items in my order on more than one occasion. The second time I ordered something (that I paid extra for) and it was missing (a 2 liter of pop) they wouldn't bring me one out but told me next time I came into the store I could have one free. Well, it wasn't really free since I had already paid for it, but I conceded and dealt with it. Several times since they have forgotten items like condiments and the like, but because I didn't pay extra for them I didn't complain, and because I had some on hand in my house I just used those.
Today, I ordered extra condiments, and was delivered none. I called immediately and they took my address and what was missing and told me they would send someone right out with it. Since I didn't have any in my house I waited over an hour (after the delivery itself took an hour already) and still received nothing.
If they had told me they weren't sending someone out, it might have been a different story. It looks like I'll be ordering from somewhere else from here on out in hopes that my full order will be delivered to me. If this were a one time issue, I probably wouldn't care. But continual lack of customer service...
Read moreVery disappointed. I have ordered pizza from Happy's Pizza in multiple Metro Detroit locations over the years. This afternoon I decided to take pizza home for dinner from the Dearborn Heights/Inkster location. I called in my order for the large 3 toppings pizza special. I normally order the same special at the Southfield location - at 10 mile and Telegraph, but have never had an experience like the one I had today. Before cashing out my bill, the worker at the counter asked how I would be paying. I replied that I would be paying by card. He replied "oh, there will be a 3% charge since you are using a card". I was surprised and utterly appalled with the fact that this location had the gall to be passing costs for swiping along to its customers. This is an out and out expression of total greed. It also shows that the owner has no regard for the customer. What a petty, and small way to conduct business. My bill showed $14.83, but I was charged $15.29. It is not that I cannot pay the little extra, but why should I? It is the priciple of it all. Why wouldn't the franchise owner eat that nominal cost instead of cavalierly passing it along - as if this is normal and okay? Clearly the customer is not valued here. I will not...
Read moreI had wings and fries delivered on 2/21/25. After eating my second fry I noticed a loose staple in my fries that had not been stapled to anything. I checked my food container to see if I may have flipped it in my food but there were no holes in my food box. I checked my brown bag it came in and the 2 staples used were still in the bag and the other in coupon paper stapled to the bag. HOW DID A STAPLE FALL INTO MY FOOD? I called the restaurant and explained to the employee he apologized and said he was going get the manager. The employee came back and said the manager told him to ask me if I wanted ny food remade. I declined and requested a refund which they honored.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN PREPARING FOOD! THIS SITUATION COULD HAVE BEEN TERRIBLE IF A ELDERLY PERSON, TODDLER, CHILD, TEEN OR AN ADULT CONSUMED WITHOUT NOTICING.
Staplers and any foreign objects that could be harmful if digested should NOT be in the food prep areas. The manager could have handled this situation and at bare minimum observed prep areas to ensure they are...
