Food: I enjoyed my honey butter burger, full of flavor and the coleslaw wasnât bad, im not usually a coleslaw fan. My friend had the lamb chops but they didnât enjoy the potato with gravy, too much gravy. I enjoyed an eggroll chicken shawarma with garlic sauce, it was just 1 large eggroll for 5 dollars. The garlic sauce they had was the best garlic sauce I had ever! It was sweet and lightly sour but more sweet & addicting! We got also Baba ghanoush and it tasted too much like egg plant, I could have been balanced a little better. Everything came out fresh so i enjoyed it! Service: When we first came in nobody approached us, we approached the front where it says wait to be seated and the waiter didn't come to us they waited at the desk to pay for us to come to them, then we were at the table & the waiter through the menus on the table.. I didnât try to think much of it since I was hungry and wanted to eat but it threw me off at first. Then after a waiter came to ask what we would like and I asked for an eggroll starter and it took forever to come out, our drinks also took a while, the waiter came back after 15 minutes to take out entree order before we got a drink and the starter. I didnât like that because I felt like we were being rushed to order then leave, the waiter came out with our entrees faster then the starter & refreshers we ordered so then I knew we got rushed. So now we had all the food we ordered on our table and it kinda got overwhelming because the table was crowded and we were being rushed. I enjoyed the taste of everything but the service was not the most professional. I also noticed that across from us the people didnât even get up yet from eating and there was someone cleaning their area while they were finishing their food, I donât think thats a good look. Atmosphere: I thought the inside of the restaurant was pretty, the aesthetic was nice & the seats were comfortable. Overall, a clean establishment. BTW: The entrance is only in the back of the building, it was a bit confusing since there is no sign but I...
Read moreThere's nothing wrong with this place, the food is just more bland than I am used to but there's many positive things also:
Pros: I got delivery and it was packaged beautifully! Every cup was full to the top! Great portions Pita bread is delish! even though delivery took an hour, it had no impact on the food, so that was awesome! The meat is WONDERFUL!!!!!!! juicy and perfect! The garlic sauce is pretty good The ranch is also pretty good Surprisingly the most flavorful dish is the baba ganoush, which has a nice smokey taste, very nice texture. I was shocked that this has more flavor than the hummus or poppers. If you like smokey ganosh this is a keeper!
Cons: Super mild. For example, the hummus tastes like chickpeas with a little salt. There isn't that garlic taste that I love. I'm happy I ordered the meat on it because that gives it some flavor. Their recipe might be to keep it very basic, and if so, then they nailed it. Its just too bland for my personal taste. I plan to add some fresh garlic and let it sit overnight. this would be incredible with salted tortilla chips to give it more flavor. Other than that, the consistency is beautiful, presentation is gorgeous
The jalapano poppers are extra extra extra mild. More like bell peppers. There's no heat whatsoever. If you think Arby's poppers are "way too hot" then you will love these.
In closing: There's nothing wrong with the order. They even added the extra pitas I paid for (woo hoo!) It's just too mild for me. It's possible I ordered on a day when someone who doesn't usually make the hummus made it. Or maybe im just crazy. Who knows. I encourage you to try it if you like trying new places! It's important we support local...
Read moreCraving something different, so we tried out The Butcher's Grille in Dearborn..... I had high expectations because Dearborn has been hittin on Everything lately. Dearborn Can't Miss, and The Butchers Grille DID NOT DISAPPOINT! To describe it.... It's a Mediterranean Steakhouse with an American Spin! We ordered the Garlic Parm Wings, and a Trio of Eggrolls for Appetizers. Traditional fried wings, however that Garlic Parm on them bird parts is different, very fresh like, a buttery garlicky well seasoned bird part thats really good. The Eggrolls..... I definitely recommend, Actually I should have order another round to go.....đ¤ŹDAMN IT!!!!!!! The Eggroll Trio included Reuben, Beef Shawarma, and Chicken Shawarma Eggrolls. They are massively packed with flavor and ingredients. Couldnt choose a favorite. They're Crispy and comes with delicious dipping sauces (Tahini, 1k Island, and Garlic). For our entrĂŠes we ordered the Fattoush Salad with Chicken. It's massive, and also pack with flavor and fresh ingredients. Also ordered a 12oz Ribeye steak, it was perfectly cooked to medium. It came with REALLLL MASH POTATOES. It was Super Good, we ordered 2 sides of it to go. Buttered and Seasoned Properly......HAVE MERCY!!!!!! It came with Chicken Lemon Rice Soup. To be honest, it's tasty......but it needs seasoning. Some Creole Seasoning would have set it off!!!! My bro and sis ordered a Chipotle Chicken Wrap and a Tabouli Salad with Chicken for their EntrĂŠes. (Not Pictured) They weren't as vocal as I was, but clean plates and scheduling a return visit...... Let's me know they enjoyed it too! We're definitely returning too. You should try for yourself! âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸'s/5 s/n Extremely Reasonable for...
