Tuff Taco — Restaurant in Dearborn

Last TWO separate times coming here food has been TERRIBLE!. I ordered tacos last night walked up and place the order (2 beef tacos and 2 street corn) and the young guy told me about 15 minutes. I came back ten minutes later and the food was ready, except the tacos and corn were COLD like they had been sitting out for hours or something. The tortillas were dry and crispy I could tell 100% my food was NOT a made fresh AT ALL. The food should have been steaming hot seeing as I just placed the order ten minutes ago. I feel like they had a door dash or something that nobody picked up and gave me that instead of making my food fresh. The beef was literally cold like out of a refrigerator cold that can’t happen in just ten minutes. For over $30 too? Crazy. These young kids don’t want to work or don’t know how because every time it has been the younger workers my food has been terrible!

Street Corn had a small pinch of chili powder on it, first time I came here it was COVERED in everything. The last several times however there was almost NOTHING on the corn! Just a regular corn on the cob with a pinch of the toppings. That’s crazy.

What’s sad is that the first time I came here with the wife, it was some grown men working. They made the food on point that time it was delicious. The tacos were steaming hot and the corn was covered basically soaked in the toppings. It was delicious.

But more recently the last few times I’ve been there the food has been worse than the Taco Bell kiddy corner to the taco stand, and if you’re from the area you know that’s the worst Taco Bell in the world.

Sorry guys but you just lost what could have been two regular customers. Train these kids how to serve food and not play on their phones the whole time. I’m extremely disappointed with how this place has turned out. Any positive reviews are ancient history for this place. Horrible service and disgusting food. Won’t ever waste my money here again. Well I was on a hurry after being out running errands all morning 🌄 and decided to hit up Tuff Taco once again. This time I ordered the Nachos Supreme and they were certainly supreme. I am so stuffed that I feel like a Thanksgiving Turkey. The portion size is huge and very good. Once again, cudos to the guys at Tuff Taco.

Well I was craving some Mexican food and didn't want to drive to my normal stomping grounds so I "Googled" the closest one to my location and I hit the Jackpot. I did have a few minutes of trouble finding this place at first. That was until I realized that I was looking for a "Food Truck". I will help you all find it in a moment. First of all, I was greeted by an Amazingly Friendly young man who took my order. In less than 5 minutes (There was no line in front of me.) I had my 3 Beef Soft Tacos (Ordered to my specifications.) and was on my way home. What a wonderful surprise to find out how delicious they were. Not only were they AMAZING, but each of my 3 Beef Tacos we're actually larger than many of the beef burritos that I have had at dine in Mexico Restaurant's. I will definitely be returning here soon. They are located on the SOUTH WEST corner of Warren road and Wyoming, in the north west corner of the SUNOCO parking lot adjacent to the Tim Hortons shop. They have plenty of OUTDOOR seating available, and are Handicap Accessable. Masks are optional at this time. They do deliver by "Door Dash" if you prefer that option. They are good guys who have helped me through a hard time in my life. I worked a hard labor job and had no car so would walk for almost an hour to come home. Then I'm very hungry. I prefer this humble taco truck instead of the McDonalds, KFC, Burger King (RIP), the Subway. Their pico de gallo is fresh, they know how to grill, sometimes they're busy, be patient, don't judge them if they spend one moment on their phone trust me they will make it even better. Honestly they are some really smart Yemeni kids they have a lot of potential. They have dreams and aspirations. I think their business model will succeed.
