They got rid of the one spot that served a variety of food daily. They kept twisted taco which is great, but all other options are jokingly expensive for the quality and taste. Not sure who this hall is catering to, but it’s definitely not the average student. The options they added make zero sense. They took away more than they added. Now i got a burger at the Big chicken spot and it was so flavorless I thought i ordered the wrong thing. The Chinese spot has meat dishes that are mostly veggies, the coffee shop is a novelty spot with stale desserts , the pizza spot looks good but it’s still pretty expensive. What’s with this university? Who green-lit this? Students were complaining already with the prices of the old restaurants and management is clearly...
Read moreOverall Cox Hall dining is a great food option. The three stars is in regards to the Sushinara restaurant and staff. My last experience visiting this restaurant have been extremely unpleasant as I have received "eye rolls" and attitudes of irritability when asking for additional sides (of which I offered to pay for before even asking). This is not a very welcoming reaction especially when someone is spending their money. Customer service should be improved especially from the manager I am assuming that dresses in the all black and initiates the negative responses.
Although the food is decent I will no longer be in support of the Sushinara restarant in Cox Hall due to such...
Read moreVery disappointing. For students, the prices here are outrageous, yet they use the cheapest possible ingredients. As an Asian, I can honestly say this is the worst “Chinese food” I’ve ever had, even compared to Americanized Chinese takeout—it’s far below the level of Panda Express. Since reopening, they don’t even provide water anymore; you have to pay extra just for soda. For a top university like Emory, this place is an embarrassment. After being closed for a year of “renovation,” it looks no different than before—just a clear sign of waste and...
