A long summary of my trip to Dairy Queen in South Shores.
Currently standing in the lobby with the same 16 individuals that were in the lobby when I walked in 10 minutes ago without anyone being even greeted. lol who “manages” this place? All the kids that work here look like they are only here to fund a narcotic habit. Would also love more neck tattoos on your employees, WAY LESS eye contact and if they could act just a bit more unhappy and less welcoming, I’m sure everyone would appreciate it. Just a thought. Anyway, still in line… still in line.. this is remarkable. Anyone who is curious I’m here to get something for my wife.. otherwise yes I would have left. The guy behind me is reading this as I type I’m pretty sure. OPE almost my turn. I’ll let you know how long it takes to get my food. Ok.. after an 18 minute wait to order.. it’s 12:30. I ordered a number 9. … Everyone looks super unimpressed … 12:37 … Like seriously… laughable. … 1240 …. Pretty sure about 3 other parties food is just sitting under the heat lamps. I see at least 5 diner baskets, 3 cheeseburgers and 6 fries… I wish I could add a picture.. … Hilarious. … Seriously just watched who I THINK is the manager just look at all the food under the headlamp.. raise her eyebrows, and then turn around. lol Mfr HELP THE DUDE UP FRONT. 12:43 … Lmaooo whyyyyyyy do people still come here? My wife is going to be pretty unhappy when I tell her this is the last time I make a Dairy Queen run for her. Big sad. … 12:47 STILL NO FOOD. Incredible. … Fun fact.. I worked at this Dairy Queen in 1997 and 1998. Zero shot this type of thing would have happened back then but I’m not sure what the answer is. Culture? Generational? Who knows. All I know is I got effed out of 9 bucks and currently TWENTY-NINE MINUTES. … 30 minutes. No food. … Absolutely insane that this place gets any business … JUST WATCHED A 6TH PERSON WALK OUT AFTER STANDING IN LINE. … THIRTY-FOUR MINUTES No Food … It’s 12:57 and I just got my food. I came it at 12:20, ordered at 12:30, received my order at...
Read moreI waited about 20 mins total to order and get my food. The cashier wasn’t friendly at all and handed me a smoothie and called it a shake. I work at a Dairy Queen so I know the difference so asked if I could get a shake not a smoothie then I had to explain how to make one to which he replied “oh you want all that” yes I want what I ordered. Then I watched as my food sat on a counter toward the back for a while then he had to ask someone else of it was for here and I overheard so I told him it was to go and when he handed it to me I told him I still needed my shake and he told me someone else was working on it... it was sitting on the counter behind him finally he realized that and gave it to me. What I had ordered was a kids cheeseburger meal with a side salad and I got the cheeseburger plain like I had asked but it was cold and I got my salad no utensles and ranch dip not dressing so I have no way to eat it and not nearly enough ranch to eat it. I am so happy I am a better worker at a much better Dairy Queen than this one. I’m happy this is an hour away from my home so I will remember not to come back when I’m in town again. This may seem unfair because I know how to do this job but I left out more incorrect details because I am getting tired of typing this out. This service was terrible and I would be ashamed if I treated...
Read moreThis is the worst Dairy Queen I have ever had. I had horrible customer service and there was ZERO accuracy. My sandwich was wrong. We took it up there and they agreed to fix it. Then my fiancé realized his sandwich was incorrect. I took it up there and the girl didn’t even look at my receipt and wouldn’t even give me the time of day. She said “yeah, I know. We will fix it” Then they bring it out and it was my sandwich not his. So I made a THIRD trip up there. At this point I had already put an order in for ice cream. The ladies exact words were “We do not have to give them a 3rd sandwich.” Each time we handed them the receipt and they couldn’t even pause long enough to listen to what we were saying and look at it. Finally they fixed his sandwich. Then we got our ice cream. I ordered a strawberry cheesecake blizzard and they made it with CHOCOLATE ICECREAM?? Like what!!?? I can’t even make this stuff up. So at this point I said let’s just leave and my one year old son and I waited in the car while my fiancé made the 5th trip up to the counter. All while they were rude, acted annoyed, and half of them were on their phones. Will not be coming back. Extremely...
