Some of the Caucasian male staff at Mojo’s Pizza are extremely racist and do not want to serve Minorities especially African Americans. There have been 3 instances where I have experienced and witnessed their hateful and discriminatory attitudes towards indigenous people.
The first time about two years ago colleague of mines went and ordered pizza. When he came back with his order, his pizza was burnt. When he asked for a refund and showed them the pizza they refused to give him a refund. One of the Caucasian waiters had a smirk on their face implying that they burnt his pizza on purpose.
The second incident happened about 6 months ago when my boyfriend and I went for a walk and passed by Mojo Pizza and noticed that one of their customers had lost their ID near the tables in for if their store Prior to closing. A group of Caucasian male employees hurried up and slammed and locked one side of the door and laughed at us and said “you people are not allowed”. We went to the other side of the restaurant and a red headed girl politely took the ID and apologized for the rude racist remarks of her coworkers.
The third incident happened today my fiance tried to order pizza there and the Caucasian staff completely ignored him and took the oders of other European Americans who came in after him. He left because of the blatant disrespect.
My fiance and I will no longer support this restaurant and will make sure everyone know that this restaurant has extremely racist employees. I am not sure if the owner shares the same views. But they have very poor customer service. People of color should not support this place. There are better pizza restaurants in the community who do know how to treat their customer with...
Read moreSomething changed today. We used to like coming here. Today was a weird combination of takeout and sit down service. One of the employees, named Q, took our order at the counter; we didn't have a choice. I'm not sure if they offer table service. We noticed a family outside who had to come inside to ask for something. This was different than before.
A few other weird things: they came to the table to drop food off but only offered to get refills once. We got a cup of utensils but not enough. When we asked for another knife, she didn't recognize we needed a few more. She made us hand her the menus.
I couldn't tell whether I was in Chick Fil A or a restaurant. I knew it wasn't Chick Fil A because the service was bad. I've changed my opinion from 4 star to 1 star.
I wish I could blame it on the place being busy but when we arrived, there were 2 tables of people total. And they left before we got half way done. We were the only table in the whole place.
My son had to go up and ask for a refill. And "Q" was standing at the counter. Sure, these aren't 'bad' things in the grand scale of things. But why should I pay $60 to come here and be treated like I was...
Read moreMojo is normally a very good pizza spot. However this night I guess I came too late in the evening and a lot of the cooks had gone home. I ordered a white pizza with chicken at it it was tasty you needed a little more seasoning or something because it was kind of bland it also needed more cheese because it's kind of very dry. Their pizzas are thin crust pizza so be prepared. My date ordered the pizza with all the meat and then thing that looks like a hot Pocket. I forgot the appropriate name nevertheless he got that with all meat. However they burned it and so it took an extra long time to come out and when it did come out it was just okay. So they are seating people so you can dine inside. So my suggestion is just to go and try for yourself you may look up and have a good pizza made that day because normally it's pretty tasty. However I do suggest that you go around 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. because I believe that's when most of the employees are still at work. And you have a better chance of getting a better made pizza.oh and I almost forgot that you can order the pizza by the slice or by...
