Coffee was great! Service was poor. My partner asked for oat milk in their coffee (we're both vegan) but the barista was distracted when ringing us up, so my partner says "I don't think she heard me". Once ahe started making their drink with cow milk, I interjected saying "I'm not sure if they said it but they wanted oat milk" just being polite even though I heard them say it. She just flatly says "He didn't." Then makes a show of dragging my partner over to the register to settle the upcharge. Except when they get there, there is no way for them to charge only the $1 upcharge so she insists my partner pay extra, she rang him up for the cheapest thing they had which was almost $2. That's silly and unfair, who still upcharges for plant based alternatives in 2025 anyway... but it gets worse! After all that, I go back to watch the barista to make sure she didn't mess up the drinks, and I see her start using the same cup she already coated with cows milk to make my partner's drink. I. stopped her and she corrected this but cmon now, people have allergies, this is a safety issue. Overall the coffee was really good which is sad because the staff didn't listen, were rude, and then didn't even follow basic health and safety procedures. Also stop upcharging for plant based...
Read moreThis coffee shop left a really great impression on me—it was actually one of the first spots I visited when I got to Atlanta. At first, we thought about just stopping by in the evening for coffee, but then we decided to come for breakfast instead, and honestly, that was the best choice.
They make an insanely good Chicken Power Bowl with quinoa, roasted sweet potato, feta, dried cherries, and chicken. I ended up having it three mornings in a row and couldn’t get enough of it.
Their coffee presentation is also really unique—they serve it with a little glass of soda. Not just water, but soda, which I’ve never seen anywhere else. It’s especially nice when you’re having strong drinks; it just makes the whole experience better.
As for the vibe of the place—it’s super calm and relaxing, at least in the mornings. No loud music, just a chill atmosphere. A lot of people were studying or working.
We were there on a business trip, but it almost felt like being back in college, when I’d spend mornings studying in a café. Brought back some good memories and left a really nice impression.
Overall, I’d 100% recommend this place to...

I stop by here every week or so. I'd probably be here more often if there were parking available.
This is a bustling little coffee shop with a pretty big dining area inside and a covered patio by the train tracks. For a student coffee shop, the coffee is decent and there's a lot of choice on snacks. There are also some small plates and sandwiches.
I drink straight espresso, and it's good here with a nice crema.
I stop by here because they have rice krispie bars that are not as sweet as the Starbucks version. They often have a few other gluten free treats. They even have a gluten free muffin and coconut macaroons.
If you are an Emory student, this is more organic and charming than the Starbucks on the edge of campus. If you are not a student, it is very hard to find parking here and unless, like me, this happens to be on your path, this is not worth going out...
