Food was good and service was good, but environment was terrible. The last time we went, there was someone sitting in a booth behind my husband and me whom every one of the restaurant's serving staff knew. They kept a steady trot, as many as four waitresses at a time , going to her booth to visit with her and kept up loud conversations and raucous laughter the entire time we were there. It was very annoying and upsetting. We could not enjoy our food. After finishing we talked to the owner/manager. He informed us that the patron was one of their favorite customers and she was moving away that was the reason for the noisy talk and laughter. Did that mean that it was okay to disturb other customers with their loud and raucous behavior? Did it mean that we, the other customers were unappreciated, except for the lady in the booth? Read moreIf you're in Decherd, TN and looking for the best breakfast in town, look no further than Sunrise Diner! My wife and I recently had a fantastic brunch there, and it truly lived up to the hype. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional – always quick and incredibly friendly, which makes for such a pleasant dining experience. But let's talk about the food. We dug into a heavenly cinnamon roll pancake, which was perfectly sweet and fluffy, and a hearty two-piece tenderloin platter complete with perfectly cooked eggs, a flaky biscuit, and crispy home fries. Every single item was clearly made with good quality ingredients and prepared with care. Sunrise Diner consistently delivers on both speed and deliciousness. It's truly our go-to for a satisfying and top-notch breakfast in Decherd. You won't be...
Read moreWe stopped in on a Sunday around 10:30. It was busy, but we did not have to wait as we normally would and were seated immediately. The staff are very attentive. This place has been talked up so much, I wasn't sure what to expect. Everything that we ate was good but not necessarily warrented considering portions. It is perhaps an upscaled version of what you would find at Skip's, just with more variety and a more family friendly atmosphere. I would say the price is comparable to Cracker Barrel. Definitely not knocking the place, it is one of the better joints to have breakfast at, but you could certainly stretch your dollar much further elsewhere in town and be...
