Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Decherd

I’ve used this location for years and enjoyed the large drink discount in the mornings. All the Sonic locations are forcing customers to use the app to get a discount on drinks. Almost 100% of the time the forces me to login every time I order. The last two times the app showed that I was 5 miles from the store, even though I was in a stall with good cell service. The app took my order and payment but wouldn’t let me check in since it thought that I wasn’t at the store, forcing me to hit the red button and explain what was going on. Whole process took about 15 minutes. The store employees were helping and stated that the app often doesn’t work well and is driving customers away. The second time it did it I drove away and headed for McDonald’s. I don’t want to waste 15 minutes trying to buy a drink. The app is not ready for prime time. I ordered 2 waters and a chicken sandwich. Sandwich was correct and fresh. One of the waters I drank that night but the other was for work the next morning. The one for work was suppose to be a route 44 lemon water with extra lemon and extra ice. The large I drank the night before had extra lemon in it tho not requested for it and was fine. Went to drink the 44 the next morning and the water was brown, had 1 slice of lemon but had the extra ice. Also the boy who took my order had it listed as stall 26 but I was in 12. The order never showed on the screen or gave me the option to pay. Pic of the 44 water is attached to this review. Let it be noted I come here every day for at least one 44 lemon water with extra lemon and ice and usually never have an issue but this was a big issue cause the water tasted awful when I tried to see if it was maybe soda...

I have had two back to back bad experiences. First time I waited 25 minutes. I ordered a cheeseburger. What I recieved instead was a bacon cheeseburger. The car hop knew it was wrong and told me to just take the bacon off. To make matters worse the inside of the burger was pink, mushy, and cold; I ended up throwing up. Then, I thought, "I am going to wash this awful burger down with the Route 44 Dr. Pepper I ordered." NOPE. It was diet coke. The order was perfectly fine on the screen. At least they got the mozzarella sticks right. The second time, my husband and I decided to go order an Oreo shake and a Lemon Berry Slush. They took our order, asked if there was anything else, but when we responded that yes, we wanted to put in another order no one responded. Then they never gave us the screen to pay and we waited, but nothing ever...
