Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Decherd

What is going on with this place? It takes roughly 90 minutes to get deliveries now from a location that's 15 minutes away. The driver is always apologetic but friendly. Tonight we placed a "Call Ahead" order for 7pm. We received an online confirmation email at 5:53pm. Called at 7:15pm to see how far out our delivery was... "If it's not there in 15 to 20 minutes, give us a call back." I try to explain it's a call ahead order, I get a Brady, I believe the name was (assuming it's the shift manager?), who tells me their print ticket shows they received the order at 6:30pm and that they cant get a delivery out to us within thirty minutes. I explain the time our order was sent, he talks over me and tells me thirty minutes is not sufficient time to expect a delivery, have a nice night and wait for the order.. click, hangs up. Getting tired of receiving discounts for pizza that comes laye because the driver gets "lost," cold, breadsticks that look like dumb bells, wrong orders, orders that are deliviered to the wrong house in our neighborhood, etc. None of these things will ever change if this location doesn't deep dive into the causes of these ongoing issues... It is currently 7:25pm as we write this on a Thursday. A but far off the 7pm mark that was requested. If the ticket was truly not received by the staff until 6:30, they are still running on one hour now. Never again. EDIT: The delivery fellow showed up at 7:40. Assuming Brady is being honest in that they didn't get the order ticket until 37 minutes after we placed our order, is 70 minutes typical for this late...

Twice now my husband and I have called for delivery just to be told they are closed. But I had went online and specifically clicked on the Decherd, Tennessee location icon and according to their website for that location they were actually still supposed to be open for 30 more minutes. They had taken our order well a few minutes later they called back and said " Oh sorry I forgot we are closed ". Now mind you this is after they taken our order told us the total and hung up then waited like 5 minutes then they called back to inform us they forgot they were already closed when we told them about their website saying they were supposed to be open for 30 more minutes the manager laughed and said "Well We're Closed" and hung up. I just think it's gotten to were people don't do what they are required to do on their jobs anymore, more than likely they wanted to clean and leave by the time they were actually supposed to close instead of working until time to...

Our experience with Papa John's in Decherd, TN was extremely poor. On July 17th, we ordered a pizza for delivery. You no longer reach the restaurant when you call, you are directed to a third party who takes your order. After an hour and a half and not receiving our pizza we attempted to contact Papa John's and that was a hassle. We were directed to an automated recording that indicated they were running late and our food would arrive shortly. Food did not arrive. After, finally making contact, the GM tried telling us that the food was delivered to our back porch. Explained that wasn't so and requested a refund. An argument ensued and we were hung up on. I drove directly to the store to ensure the refund was processed, the GM stated the order was canceled. As of today, July 19th, Papa John's has not refunded our money. Shame on them and their nonexistent...
