This Taco bell is literally a disaster. I went there with a roomate from portage and decided to eat there. We ordered a xxl chicken supreme burrito and 2 bean burritos. When my friend got hers it was literally half empty and she went around to have them remake it. The woman did not even say a word just took the burrito shut the window and had us waiting for at least 10 minutes for 1 burrito. We finally get it back and this time the burrito was so skimpy and smushed like flatbread. We went YET AGAIN to talk to the lady to remake it and she said she was the manager. She said she watched them weigh the portions out and that was the correct size. With that, My friend decided she would like a refund as she was not used to a 6 dollar burrito looking like a normal soft shell taco. The manager then said it was not there policy to give refunds, and that definantly shocked us as we have never had issues at any other location when this happened. We decided to call corporate and they indeed confirmed that they do infact to refunds. we were still at the window talking to corporate and then one of the workers came up and tried to give us a refund, and then his coworkers started yelling at him DONT GIVE HER A REFUND over and over. We then explained we were on the phone with corporate, and that they said yes they would. We requested the receipt and he gave it to us. My friend at this time was very upset and they told her to pull up and for a second she was like im on the phone with corporate, and they said i could get my refund back so please do it, but they still refused, and then i told her just to pull up and she did and at this point we were off the phone with corporate. She again called the taco bell corporate and gave the reciept numbers and they would either give us a refund or coupons??? They had also called the police on us saying we were bieng vulgar and beligerant.. when we had not even raised our voices, or said one swear word. The management here is...
Read moreLet’s start by saying if you can process my payment online you should be able to process a refund when you mess things up the same way… I order online so all of the instructions are clear and not up to the person at the window trying to do multiple things at once, sadly the orders are still wrong most of the time… I ordered a chalupa and swapped the beef for black beans which is what is printed on the receipt. The packaging has beans circled and I still received beef. When I called they advise I can take another 20 minutes to drive back in to potentially get the right item or I can advise at the window the next time I attempt to order that I spoke with Hannah and am owed a free chalupa. Excuse me if this he said she said system of we owe you doesn’t work for me when you can’t even give me the correct order as it’s typed out…. I say this does not work and I would like a refund, of course the response is you have to come in to get a refund. All in all I have no lunch… I was given something I don’t eat and I’m out the gas money it took to drive there in the first place. Read moreI placed an order in the app for breakfast today (Sunday, 22Jan2024). I arrived at the restaurant at 10:45a CST and proceeded to the drive thru (note that there was a sign on the front of the restaurant stating that the drive thru was open) and waited for a response at the speaker.
After waiting 10 minutes, and saying good morning to see if maybe it was just a sensor issue, I drove around to see what was going on. This was when I saw that there was nobody visible in the restaurant. When I tried the front door, it was locked.
11a CST on a Sunday and the restaurant isn't open? No signs were put up saying it was closed, and as I mentioned, there was a sign in front staring that the drive thru was open. Also, the app allowed me to place an order and pay for it, even though the restaurant wasn't open. Why wasn't the app updated? By the time I had gotten back to my car, it was too late to go somewhere else for a quick breakfast.
A comedy of unforced errors on the part of Taco Bell. Absolutely ridiculous.
